Lol oh because they won't break? I think they will anyway. Also their rackets probably take even more care since they are custom or older molds no longer a part of the standard market. But hey, they paid for it. At the end it is a business and selling more of them helps. Just saying it probably works out better for profits so you could try to see it that way and be thankful lol

Made me appreciate my racquet so much more to see the work that went into it haha! Will never blame my racquet for a mistake again :)
I used Wilson rackets for most of my life with the last being the Wilson blade 98, tried a yonex vcore a while back and it has remained my go to racket now.
Very cool video! Love yonex rackets and the brand in general. It’s refreshing to see their dedication towards their craftsmanship.

Beautiful video, and I really like the new Vcore 95 too. Shame that Yonex doesn't seem to be able to ship them to TW Europe. I've just had to cancel the order I had placed with them due to this item being backlogged with no visibility on the supply.

I’m sponsored by another company and I’ll tell you this. Look at that factory… Look at that quality control per racket… No wonder Yonex are the absolute best made rackets in the world. That classic Japanese manufacturing workmanship and quality. Immense
Fantastic production as always on these, kudos!
I prefer Yonex business model w/their own mfg. facilities in home country. Makes me wanna pick up a 23 VCore 95 & add to my bag after watching this post as everything in the video seems to support Yonex reputation for superior quality.

Great video. A Yonex racket is indeed a product of beauty.
there is a reason Yonex is the best at quality control

Because the rackets of Babolat Wilson Head and others are made in China, unlike the ones supplied to the pros.

I wish it came in all black like it looked halfway through the process. Or it'd be cool if it were a red-blue metallic chameleon paintjob.
Wilson Quality Control should learn from this video!
So do the ATP players who are ambassadors for Yonex also use these same production units? Or are customised just for them?
@dandan3045

Of course they are customized.
does anyone know why rpm blast is the one string I keep hearing some people say it's super soft and some people say it's super stiff? i know it is supposed to be stiff but I've never had any problems with it either so I'm curious why people have so many differing opinions on it
@tenniswarehouse
Жыл бұрын
RPM Blast is a stiff string but it slides out of position and snaps back extremely well. If you hit with a lot of spin it will feel softer than other polys since it slides so well and you will fell that string movement as a softer sensation. If you are a flatter hitter you will not get the strings sliding and instead will feel the stiff nature of the strings. If you use your fingers to pull a main string out of position towards the frame (so a lateral movement of the string) you will replicate the main string sliding against the cross strings. If you tap the stringbed against your hand you will feel the stringbed stiffness in the sense of a flat hit. Hope that helps explain why some find it softer feeling (spin players) than others (flatter hitters). Cheers, Chris, TW
@mangodragon26
Жыл бұрын
@@tenniswarehouse thanks so it depends on how you hit, is this sensation true for any other strings as well, or even all strings to varying degrees?
Wish they kept it glossy
@MMm-kp7lk
Жыл бұрын
almost hardly any regular rackets have a glossy finish as you will notice; usually only pro stocks. That reduces the flex but improves the feel quite a bit. Don't know if there is a big cost difference either.
I would like to know how to QA and QC dimensions of racquets. Camera inspection?

There is an X-Ray type of machine. You can see it at 3:22. Both the internal and external structure is checked for QC. Cheers, Chris, TW

What is different about the racquet making process for yonex compared to the factories in china?
@time410s

They may never say. They also have to sell the other brands. Probably less meticulous quality control. Less health concerns for the employees, I'd guess. Both of which reduce manufacturing cost a lot!

It is hard to find a backpack that can fit 3 racquets, so you might have to go with a 3-pack or larger. That said one of my favorite backpacks that holds the racquet nice and securely is this one: www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpage-FTB2PB.html. It is close to the 50 dollar price. Troy, TW

I have seen plenty of videos and reviews saying Vcore is trash and that its made of very cheap materials?
I hate when they flare out the stock grommets. I have to buy grommets when I put lead tapes under the bumper on a new racquet. That's the only thing I have against Yonex. Otherwise, their engineering and manufacturing are perfection
Not sure how higher prices can be justified on a racquet with a higher percentage of cheap resin
