How a ventilator works
Ventilators, often referred to as life support machines, are used in intensive care units for patients who cannot breathe on their own. Many of the sickest patients with COVID-19 need the assistance of a ventilator to survive. Throughout the course of the pandemic, about half of the patients in UAB’s COVID-19 ICU have been on a ventilator.

He described the ventilator perfectly for me to understand
After brain surgery I was on a ventilator and it still is in my ear the crinkly and the horn. My wife asked why the horn and the y said i was breathing over the machine so I would pull the tube out so I could talk. Luckily I have vocal cords left after five times.
That stupid roller blind.. ans poor chain 😭

Yet t am still here.
Yeah definitely if you don't have your face mask on correctly passing germs .
It's hell
While I appreciate the education provided here, I'm wondering why the mask isn't covering the woman's nose when she's speaking. Maybe she didn't realize.
