How A-Trak Went From Teenaged Battle Champ To Global Ambassador of DJ Culture | Blueprint
Ойын-сауық
As a kid, A-Trak was a natural turntablist who became a five-time world champion by age 18. His love for DJing and knack for remixes put him in connection with Kanye West at a pivotal time in both their careers. He would go on to launch Fool’s Gold Records and enjoy tremendous success due to the global popularity of EDM, while continuing to reinvent himself.

Montreal, late 90's early 2000's at Blizzart with the Brass Knuckles Crew and the Macklovitch brothers. Good music, good vibes. Lots of good memories. Those were the days. It is good to see he kept on pushing through all these years. A+

I dont think a day goes by that UK radio (and bars when they're open) doesn't play day n nite Crookers remix. That song was and still is incredibly huge. I never even heard the original until maybe a year or so later

great video but the auddddddio.
Noah gets a Job with DefJam and now his audio is messed up.... Illuminati
People in rough neighbourhoods have things to offer the world as well. Why judge them because of where they live?
God, why is the audio been recorded so badly?
Send me a signed crossfader!!! 🤪
you know
did he say 'i'm not that lil girl anymore'??
Who's still watching this in 2037 ?

lol every famous artist and musician these days gotta reminisce about their "kanye moment"
Some could argue that A-Trak might be a true DJ, but some of his current colleagues, ala Diplo, ala Steve Aoki, ala Skrillex are not DJ's. They are good in entertaining the crowd, but the walk with a DJ stamp on their heads is wrong and offensive to true DJ's like Premier, Rock, etc...
@Mewzyc
6 жыл бұрын
i guess different style of DJ. a-trak is the scratching and turntablism type; the old school hip-hop; aka real OG DJ.
@nathan_johnson
6 жыл бұрын
You have zero idea what you are talking about when it comes to Skrillex. He's gotten the seal of approval from pretty much any 'true dj' that's ever seen him live. He is not a scratch dj, but he has mad skills.
@NeonKue
6 жыл бұрын
Those guys are mainly producers. Some have little if any true DJ skills. DJing is just a platform for Producers to showcase their music. The DJ stamp just lost its definition like a lot of mainstream labels and was just accepted by majority of people as someone who presses buttons behind a table on stage. People still mistaken Rappers as Singers these days too.
@Magsm666
6 жыл бұрын
They’re producers not DJs. Atrak is both.
why the audio so butt butt on this shit lol yall ain't pay him either??

K.T. Harmon don't hate, create, and pave your own path. He is dope af not only a cute white kid. Have you listened to any of his battles? He is well respected. He couldn't fake it 5+ times. Even last years winner was a super young Asian kid, but was sick.
