How A Professional Paint Mixer Creates Colors
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Tony Piloseno of Tonester Paints is a paint professional who shares videos of how paint colors are made. Typically in a paint store, the colors are made with preset formulations and shaken in a paint shaker, but Tony uses pigments and his knowledge to show you what is actually happening in the can you typically can't see. He also shares a lot of knowledge about colors, such as the hardest color to mix, explaining best and worst colors for certain spaces, and sheens that best fit different rooms.

I could watch this for hours. It's lovelier than a kaleidoscope.
I work at an automotive paint store as a color matcher. Car paint is way prettier to look at when mixing than these plain solid colors lol I might start a channel and show people what it looks like to color match and mix it

Why is the audio so low?
I actually watch his videos
of course it had to be the one and only tonester paints
I like this guy! He's an amazing Paint-mixer like a DJ!
The reason why someone nerdy had promoted being a virgi not to mix too many um into brownish -self preservation + recent "silky heart" trend
B C & F and I’ll make almost any color. Automotive paints are more fun tho, Pearls are the best.
The sounds bro. Fkd
“Instead of using the gallon shaker like they’ll typically use I’ll just use a stick and charge you 3x the price”
Itssss tonester
How to connect you sir
Anyone else having issues with the volume on this? So quiet
I'm a journeyman artist - paint mixing is a skill that has remained important since it was derived by artists hundreds (documented, in the citystates that would become Italy, painters used this to save money 500+ years ago, and ever since), and really thousands of years ago, to both be economical and expand their palettes. This is a skill that is not as necessary now, as digital art allowed you to have any color you want at your fingertips, but can really, reallly improve your art - it's a real useful skill, that I hope will help me a fair bit in my journey into the worlds, the realms I can travel, journey into and abouts ♡ ^%^ ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

I learned color mixing in a wallpaper factory, where the wallpapers were silkscreened by hand. I agree, the skill is mind-expanding and lasts all your life. It is a privilege to know how to do something the way it was done before computers.

@@AlvaSudden So much so. Reminds me of yesrs ago, when Neil DeGrasse Tyson brought up that, even if you never use calculus again, it expands your mind. I think a lotta people disregarding these wonderous skills are giving into these anti-artistic mentalities, just like those taught to hate math are taught anti-scientific societal ideas. Tis wonderous to hear from another person trained in this world-expanding art, can truly grow your worlds ^%^
no wonder why I hated the sun for years

really sir, 50 shades of grey?????????
🙄🙄q
Ummmm no thanks? I'll trust the machines for my color match, even that can be slightly off. I can't even imagine the mess of inconsistencies humans manually mixing tint willy nilly. What a ridiculous concept.
So you’re a professional with no ACTUAL study involved and then getting fired for doing shit at your job you were told NOT TO and then getting a company thrown at you because you had a tik tok and they wanted the exposure? Yeah. How professional. Pathetic.
Can you please delete your TikTok account, because I'm concerned about a potential threat to the global security.
Grey had 50 shades😂
