My parents owned franchises, at one of their locations a customer won a Corvette.

Being Canadian myself I can't believe i'd been scammed of this lie like I know it's Mcdonald's but still really? When it's Monopoly season imma try to avoid Mcdonald's at all costs.

Real question though is why have Canadians not got a class action lawsuit against McDonald's, seems like they owe Canadians probably 100s if not thousands each for just straight up fraud with the monopoly game.

In one respect he didnt rob McDonalds he robbed their customers since they paid out irrespective. One other thing I'm not sure McD ever picked up on, didnt they realise an unreasonably % of the very high value prizes were claimed? Statistically there should have been many that were not claimed. So to contradict myself in that respect I suppose he did rob McD by making all their prizes pay out when you would expect some to end up in the trash.

I don't play the Macdonalds Monopoly game because it is a scamm either way. The chances of winning big are slim to none. You better off investing the money you spend at Macdonalds, and you have a higher chance of making better income.

Poor odl Uncle Jerry. He'll be paying restitution for a little over 2,815 years. Unless they add interest. Then he'll never get what he owes paid off. But dang if he wasn't livin large while it lasted.
