How a Little HONDA CB125R Changed My Perspective
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Sometimes you ride a motorcycle that makes you realise things. It makes you think twice, and this was exactly the case of the tiny but mighty Honda CB125R. This naked motorcycle might be great for a 16 year old beginner, but it cast a longer lasting impression on myself as well. Enjoy the video!

I'm 55 and completed cbt but these dealer rogues are hoinking prices right up. Even Lexmoto are nearly touching 4k. I'm looking at AJS tempest roadster, xsr legacy. I prefer that retro look.
I'm 77 in Australia and I bought one of these yesterday.
Great test, the best I ever seen... I am 50yrs old and I ride motorbikes since I was 14... 125 2 stroke, R6, VFR800, and from 2007, R1.... But when I ride on CB125R (of my son)... Well, I feel really good... It's the right way to be a biker, just fun, just leisure, no worries...Great!!!
The way he talk about the bike, it about the emotions u gets on a bike not like other reviewers. U deserve a sub bro

Great video! Really well shot. I bought this bike two years ago when I first started riding. Lots of people told me I would quickly grow out of a 125. I absolutely love it though and am finidng it hard to see justify moving to a bigger bike. I am 6ft2 and 90kgs for reference. I also done a couple of biggish (350 mile over 10 hour days) on the bike and enjoyed all of it. Great bike!

Exactly, not all bikers need speed, some of us just enjoy the simple vroooom down the road, feeling the wind, the engine noise, having the landscape around. I have a grom, which is 125 cc and 500 cc honda cb 500 x and the cb 500 x is a different kind of activity, it is more about confidence, balance, serious ride and sometimes fun to accelerate it for a while. I would love to trade my grom for CB 125 R as the grom is too harsh on potholes. Otherwise, great and playful and reliable and simple.
Boy! You know how to film it and present it! I haven't felt this thrilled about the machine since the trios from Top Speed lost its sharpness due to age. You deserve a bigger platform!

i own one of these (am 17). its a great bike, i have a lot of fun on it, i have done so modifications to make it look better, i changed the exhaust, the chain, mirrors, plate holder, i wrapped the silver parts black with some nice red stripes and lastly the leavers. mastering the ballance on it is so enjoyable, doing wheelies and sharp turns. am getting carried away. the bike is a beauty.
This video is really professional dude! Keep up the good work!
What an amazing video that was, good job dude
Your presenting style is great and the video is really well produced. Much better than most of the content you see on KZread 👏
Brother... you are 100% spot on!! 👌 I am now 41 years old and just started riding motorcycles in November 2021... i bought an FB Modial HPS 125cc and got feedup with problems - very pretty bike, but a nightmare as a daily driver bike. I got rid of it and bought in August last year a black mate CB125R and dude... i am so in love - so much so that i am about to have the full license and plan to buy a CB650R this year... but i will keep this puppy - it is as you say - its a complete joy and toy in corners and it really makes you feel you are a very fast rider - its so nimble!! And in traffic, its so small that it runs through any gap in stopped traffic - it gives so much confidence that i find myself going way faster than way bigger machines. Let me tell you... passing from the FB and the Honda was like passing from shit to chocolate - thank you for this video - you are so much yonger - but you DO know what is more important about motorcycle experience. Who gives a crap if this bike is slow at top speed? Its cornering experience makes it all worthwhile 🥰 Happy riding and greeting from Portugal

Yes. Life isn't about what bike you ride. I'm a slow rider for which I'm content with, and a 125cc suits me just fine.
Probably the best looking modern 125cc after the WR125x.
Nice vid, camera angles and footage is blended rather nicely 👍 Good looking bike too, im very interested in buying one for the summer months.

Loved your video man. I made a review about its bigger brother CB150R. CB series is a treat for the eyes.
Amazing Video ^^
After owning a 2023 Grom and a CB150R i think the bike is a decked out Grom. Don’t know about the price but it should be around 3800 dollars. This should have been my 1st bike.
I'm 32 and am about to test drive this thing. I don't need face melting HP, I just wanna have a fun ride and get back home safe lol. The bike looking so fucking good is just a very pleasant bonus! Edit: oh, first bike btw...
Man this is made for daily commute and is perfect for india

I'm thinking about buying this, but at the same time, I wonder if it'll be able to scale relatively steep inclines, or if I should buy a 150CC buke instead?🤔 My main priority is mileage, after all.

If you are concerned with what people will say seeing you on a 125cc, well, somebody needs to grow up here, and that somebody is not the 125cc.

Where I live you can only get 50cc when youre 16 and 125cc when youre 18. Just bought my first 50cc to go to school and i am planning to upgrade to an 125cc when I turn 18.
Im 16 and i’ll take my driver’s test in about 3 weeks and will take delivery of my 2022 cb125r next weekend. Thanks for the video it just made me enjoy the fact that i have put my money into the right bike 👍🏼

How you getting on mate. Thinking of getting one, what’s the top speed and execration like ?
Honda should start bring this CB (it's gonna be 150cc in my country) to my country and get rid the current less cool and ugly version of this ASAP LOL.. it such a good looking little bike, and i wanna own it!
I had a scooter ... With a painful body and legs i am waiting for cb150r in India ... it's a dream bike for me .... Also aerox 155 maxi scooter......150r is more powerful and less seat height compare to 125r .. though I can manage but I prefer low seat height .... The main problem is ground clearance ... Also xsr had high seat height .. but but xsr 155 has very good fuel consumption vs power ratio ... In India same 155 engine Mt 15 giving 44-48 km per liter mileage , which is awesome .. but xsr seat height is little bit high specially when we had to ride with pillion person in traffic jam bad roads that time high seat height become negetive ....
when I was 16 I could afford a skate board not motorcycle...

I just got my first bike, a 2016 cb500f, comming from an mt-07 where i had my leasons on, the cb looks the part, is comfy darty an streal quiete fast. Surely its nothing power wise to the mt but is more then fast eneugh
All 125 4strokes sound like this, my recommendation. Get a mivv complete exahust
Bro when launch the Indian Market
Great video. I've just started riding (around 600 700 km so far) and bought fz6 for a first bike like the one you had. I cannot stop wondering if I missed out on starting on a smaller one. However I'm 1.91 around 96 kg so I'm not sure if I would have fitted properly.

I don’t think you missed out ... you can always experiment down the line, it just might take you a little longer to get used to the FZ6. But at your size, I’d say you’re just fine!

"Can even fit someone bigger, like an American" - got my like and sub there lol.
It’s a 125 lol why on earth would you even remote compare it to a big bike
Maybe try and be wee bit less divisive. You’d suit a grom btw 😂
Any rich person out there wanna offer me this bike?
What is wrong with you people I want to buy one too but they are too expensive who asks entire 5k for a 125cc like come on I will start robbing stores to get one
Way to pricey and a low-revving engine with a boring sound
" only a honda" ? after 13 years of riding several bikes/brands i can say that your words have nothing to do with Honda motorcycles . It may apply to this entry level bike, but so are all entry level ones. And one more thing ...NOT a cafe racer ;) . Enjoy all rides !
👊
Bla Bla Bla --- HONDA Ok.
