I have a small noise on my tiguan TDI 150 DSG7 4Motion when I'm on low rpm and I put a little gas, it sound like if I break with heavy used breaks. The easiest way to hear it is on gear 3 at 25-30 km/h, but on nice motorway, it can be hear too on the other gears... I read somewhere that a software update can solve this. What's your thought about that? Best regards

My audi TT MK1 haldex is broken it is always turned on. The rear differential makes lots of noise when I turn my car. I have already checked 3 different control modules, but there is still the same problem.

Hello! Have you changed the solenoid or the control unit on the Haldex? Or checked that the you dont have a problem that maybe the "car" tells the Haldex to be active all the time. Regarding the differential it sound like you can need to change som hard parts or bearings if you have bad sound from it. Bot of course really hard to say from here.

After having multiple traction issues on my 8v A3 Quattro, audi replace the Haldex pump, filter, oil, and problem still exists. They are now replacing the Haldex clutch, as they ordered a part feom Germany. Would the Haldex clutch also include the control unit? It was covered under warranty thank god, since I am 2 weeks from my warranty ending, was wondering how much a clutch would cost if I didn’t have warranty?

I have a gen 1 Audi S3 (210HP version when factory stock), which I’m guessing comes with a gen 1 Haldex. It’s currently modded to 350HP. I’ve been searching for docs for a while now on how to convert it to RWD for drifting, but haven’t found anything. I was toying with the idea of removing the front axles and then trying to electrically trick the rear clutch closed. Would that result in 100% torque transfer in the rear you think? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have something special in mind? It is a common product in awd cars, so we think it's reliable. But of course we always recommend to change the filter and oil from time to time.
