You can have craft without art but you cannot have art without craft.

Wow. Simply wow. I love a good hat. And I enjoy watching the care and craftsmanship that goes into creating a finely crafted hat. Not a machine made knock-off & not cheap costume replica but an actual man's hat. I enjoy my hats and firmly believe more men should take to wearing hats once again. You'll like how you feel. A hat is the defining touch to a man's look.

I will have failed as a wife if I don’t buy my husband one of these hats. Simply timeless, and he deserves the best.

Nothing is to compare to the quality of a hand made hat. This hat will last for decades to come it it is taken care of.

That brought back memories of when I worked for Dunn & Co....what were then the largest hatters in the UK .

@@Ursaminor31 thank you for this. Times are hard, I’m on a fixed pension and there are no spare pounds (UK) at the moment - cold winter here and heating costs have doubled for me. No matter; stay positive and, if nothing else, enjoy watching a craftsman.

I genuinely feel lucky to be able to watch, for free, craftsman at work on YT. Even 20 years ago, that would have been impossible. Money is great to have but not as great as health and family. So, I’m blessed in a world where so many are not.

I own a black handmade bowler hat from the Melegari hat shop in Milan, I'm not shy to say it started an obsession with artisanry and handmade stuff in general. Sure, everyone with some money can buy a hat press and start pumping out cheap hats, but it takes a master to make a work of art you can wear on your head

I'm a master cabinet maker. I have zero issues paying top dollar for a good quality fedora. I have 3 all are Stetson's...one black (Saturday go to Schule hat) a good brown workaday hat and a summer straw. I paid top dollar for all three. I have a Straw Boater that I also paid top dollar for...and don't regret paying th price for any of the 4.

Love hats...doubt if I can afford one of these, but gonna check...fascinating, thank you!

I have two Borsalinos, one brown, one gray. My dad bought them but hats went out of fashion while they were still brand new. I'm not sure if he ever wore at all, or maybe one or twice. They're still in the original boxes 60 years later.

My dad owns a hat company and my brother and I found a much of wooden head molds and a few steemers in the back and were thinking about trying to make some of these just for fun and this video shows up in my recommends lol maybe it's a sign
