How a Black community in NYC's Central Park disappeared

Before New York City's Central Park existed, there was a community of predominantly Black residents that lived there called Seneca Village.

    Yea let’s just give all descendents of NYC black community an 1/8th of an acre in Central Park. As well as half a million dollars for slavery reparations.

    I always heard NYC Central Park was shitty....but I guess at least it was useful lol
