The crazy champions and mechanics are pretty easy to notice, but I think what people often underrate with Keria is his shotcalling. Sure, he maybe isn't quite on the level of a Beryl, but he is the main shotcaller on T1, the other players have said so. Obviously, Faker does a ton too especially with setting up the map, but I think it speaks insanely highly of Keria that Faker trusts enough in him to be their main shotcaller.

I managed to get tickets for the finals in 2023 and got to see T1 lift their 4th trophy. I loved every second of it it was one of the best experiences i've ever seen in person. I watched T1 lose to DRX in 2022 and i cried when I saw Keria break down on stage after their loss so seeing them win the next year in person was an incredible thing

Ashe is pretty much perma banned against Keria 😂

Just a little improvement suggestion : targeting the player on the screen so we can easily identify who we have to watch is a big ergonomic plus. Thanks for the vid :)

You know a player is GOOD when he plays support and people debate if he is/was the best in the world at some point

He was exempted from military service. Hope he will achieve more and have the lux skin this year.

cvmax isnt the sole reason why keria got picked was more Deft who is a friend of him and told cvmax that he wants to play with them

only t1 will have a team overall performance like that and still be criticized and called "fell short, not enough and/or underperforming". You just know everyone knows that they are the best thats why anything but a championship title is "underperforming"

I think you should mention beryl 2022 final and world. He lead the way for keria rissing in 2023 by how unique he played. Then adc/heimer bot all spring and keria being the verry best at it.

Maybe might be good to show some of his top plays in last years finals like with bard.

pretty sure keria's champ pool is way deeper and he plays them all at a higher lvl than the EU support

@@reyrey9752 peak chovy, peak faker maybe. people want to say faker got back to if not surpassed his peak at 2023 worlds. that's simply not true, peak faker was a horror film and the only player that could ever fight evenly with peak faker (Dopa) was banned from professional play for life. i've never seen any other league player that can reach the pure level of speed and consistency that these two did at their best. honestly... that's only natural. the ones that can usually end up playing pro SC2 instead, and don't get me started on that lol. i simply cannot comprehend how the SC2 gods can process so much information so quickly AND maintain 500+ apm for hours on end. once you get below about 145ms, reaction speed has less to do with reflex-response time and more to do with game sense and intuition. you respond to things BEFORE they happen by using a combination of misdirection and prediction to manipulate the enemy, and that's why you can exceed the limits of reflex-response time. once you get below 75ms... it's more like a flow state, you can't do it at will. what made peak Faker and Dopa simply built diff was their ability to find their way into that flow state often enough to create the illusion of consistency. modern Faker simply can't seem to get back there anymore, but the experience he gained from 3 worlds titles and a laundry list of Bo4 and Bo2 finishes makes him terrifying for an entirely different reason. but as far as pure mechanical skill is concerned, he's probably closer to Oner or Keria and BELOW Zeus and Guma. 2023 was hype as shit, but if i'm being honest the reason they won wasn't faker, and it wasn't keria. it wasn't even Zeus. even with all of the flashy plays and pure ridiculousness T1 put on display that year, they would have lost to JDG. the reason they got to lift that trophy is the one thing about T1's roster that no one focuses on: Peak Guma. Gumayusi as a player... is problematic. honestly i don't know how to fairly assess his value, his low end is still easily Top 10 ADC in the world... but it's his high end that i find is an issue. Gumayusi has the ability to hit the same kind of flow state that Faker and Dopa could at their peak, but Peak Guma can actually reach an even HIGHER level of speed and mechanical skill. the issue is that Gumayusi can't get into that flow state anywhere near as easily. for Faker and Dopa, it was kind of like trying to throttle an engine. you HAD to stop them before they got going, because if they built momentum they would find their rhythm and then a 1v3 was simply 3 free kills and a highlight reel. but Peak Guma can't do that, he's closer to players like Ruler or Lehends. the way to think about monsters like Peak Faker or Peak Dopa is they had an ability to get into a rhythym around about 84-90% of their limits, and then from time to time they could just go nuts and spike to 125%. players like Ruler, Lehends, and Guma spend much more time around 64-72% of their limits. the main difference between Guma and players like Lehends or Ruler is that when ruler or lehends "go nuts" they're just playing closer to 100%. guma on the other hand seems to progressively get more and more crazy if you can't break his rythym. he goes from hovering around 64-72% the way Lehends and Ruler typically do to hovering around 84-90% the way Faker and Dopa used to. and his spikes seem to be relevant to where his rythym is at the specific moment, but what makes it interesting is that he has another level even beyond Peak Faker or Peak Dopa. he can find a specific rythym around 92-96% of his limit, and when he's at that level he can jump up past 150% during moments of insanity where his play spikes to a degree that simply makes it impossible to properly assess the threat he can pose during those moments. no other player on T1 can reach that level, no other player IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME could do so on the world stage. Ruler's legendary Xayah games managed to reach the same level as Peak Faker's LB or Peak Dopa's TF. but Guma's Varus is a terror that can reach a level even further beyond that. when Gumayusi plays on-hit varus... his play can even surpass Peak Fakers legendary Zed or Riven moments. it's not simply that the APM is faster, but the reads he has are even sharper. we've only seen small hints at how terrifying he can become on that pick. you need to kill him, camp him, shut him down and make him completely unable to farm. tilt him, break his rythym and never let him get going. it's not about what WILL happen otherwise, but rather what can. honestly... it's a good thing he can't reach that level so easily. because if he could... well, he has Keria as his support so you know exactly what would happen lol. drafts would be forced to a 100% pick/ban for Varus vs T1... and then it probably depends on the coaches. i've always prioritized focusing on enabling playstyle rather than adapting to the meta, so i'd put him on picks like Vayne or even Quinn bot and completely ignore meta ADC drafts.

hey, i really apreciate this vid, its so strong and full of truth. but i see u have lost a significant information. Faker is not faker because he changed midlane, he changed the whole game, he was so much better as one player then the enemie teams, for years, until they catched up. but yes, i agree, even now, Keria is the Faker of Support. but faker changed the game, not the mid.

um no GenG if they so good and strong shouldn't it have been 3-0 oh nah because once T1 camped on chovy and killed him the rest of the team choked hence why T1 won 2 games but still yes GenG won but it was close at one stage could have gone either way and after game 5 GenG deserved that win because T1 were outplayed hard but still whatever I would not call it dumpstered
