I love that the old style of Disrupt is coming back, but I really miss the Adult-Swim-esque bumps in between the stories. It really made the channel feel like a forbidden TV channel from the early 2000s.

Yeah, sadly. You can tell it's AI within 10 seconds of video with how shit it looks. Unconfident details and shapes melting in and out of existence in blurry, senseless motion. A far cry from the original aesthetic

they arent, thats how disrupt videos were originally, multiple unrelated stories told interspersed, I really like this style of storytelling, but I can see why its confusing
love the content, its a shame there is such heavy use of AI art- especially when you compare it to the previously human-made works which elevated the story telling, and showed a hell of a lot more love

The art looks great. Why are artists always crying about AI stealing their jobs while saying AI art sucks? Doesn't make sense. Stop being so salty. AI can't draw what's in your head so human artists are still valuable.

@@saadahmed688 mate are you dense? ai art is trained off of real people and is already taking away opportunities; use this video as an example- a real human being could have been employed and created work for this video, however that simply isn't the case and they've instead used AI work which is just worse.
Voice was a little low in some areas but other than that, super glad yall are back!

I personally found it so much better than many animations I've seen, the fact it's generated by AI doesn't bother me at all, I have other issues with this channel lol (namely the unnecessary voice changes, stupid insertions that feel unrelated to the overall topic, kinda misleading title and so on)

I'm pretty sure the intro is AI(If not im sorry) but seeing this from a channel that I used to be so fond of is quite upsetting, you are probably able to fund some sort of artist(again, sorry if not) and if not then use some other form of media.

Looks like the rest is human-made, so now i just wonder why they couldnt do that for the intro. IMO the intro being AI-generated brings down the rest of the video quality

Alot of people like to act like taking psychedelic drugs is all sunshine and rainbows. I've never heard about the Colorado EAS incident. I do remember the PBS Dr. Who / Maxx Headroom signal hijack, the "Wyoming Incident" and more recently the Dallas Tornado siren incident. The latter being done via DTMF tones from a cheap Chinese ham radio.

@@JGeddes2 they didn't use to do AI video though, it was a combination of stock footage, 3d renders, and post processing filters. they've only started using ai generated footage in the past year or so.
The video is perfect and all, but I did notice that the background music is a bit loud compared to the narrator. It might be worth adjusting the volume so it's more balanced. Otherwise, great job on the video!
