    As someone who makes skincare products, a clear gel in a bottle is a sign gelling carbomer was used. Real aloe vera gel is cloudy and is exactly what you see when you fillet an aloe leaf. There is also no 100% aloe vera product because a preservative will always be needed for extended shelf life and safety. If you want 100% aloe vera just harvest from a aloe leaf. That is 100% aloe.

    @@olmakses5428 you can if you know what you're doing. You can use the ones i mentioned in another comment if you have access. Just know that using preservatives will also require microbial testing so you can check if your preservative is actually working and if there is any harmful bacteria or mold growing in your aloe juice. Then you also have to check and adjust pH to suit the preservative. For short term preservation and if you don't want to mess around with preservatives and testing, I suggest just freeze your aloe fillets and take one out as you need it. Make sure to sterilize everything.

    I started using Aloe jell straight from the leaves when I was in Africa to help heal mosquito bites, small cuts, or scratches. Just grow your own plant, I was shocked by how resilient it is (I even grew it in London), and when you need it you just cut a piece and get your own gel.

    Aloe gel is not naturally green - when you see a solid green color gel the manufacturer added artificial coloring, skip the solid green gel. Ok everyone saying "grow your own" seem to forgot how many people live in apartments. While there are varieties that will do fine in apartments they're not the ones you want to use for topical use or consumption. Those need a lot of sun and a decent sized pot. However, if you're lucky enough to have access to that they do really grow easily and you can forget to water them for weeks and they won't die. I had one my landlord let me keep out on the walkway and I left it out for over two months without watering (was gone due to an unfortunate disease complication) but when I came back only the outer leaves had died and the core was still going strong. Started watering it again and she's doing just fine.

I really hope their company gives them free drinks and food. So much respect to all the people who works in the factory. We appreciate you all. 🙏🏻🥰💕

    Huh. I had no idea there was such a hassle over this plant, although I guess it figures when thinking about it. Anyway, I'm just happy about my one Aloe Vera plant that I've had for going on twelve years now and which always closes the summer with a series of offshoots that I can then harvest, pot and give away to friends and relatives. Add to that that whenever I've gotten irritated skin, I have just cut a section off of an older leaf and dabbed the irritated area with it for instant cooling and soothing effect. So, if this plant grows naturally in US, how come no more people simply go out and get one for their living spaces? They are easy plants to, and pretty awesome looking at once they get established.

    More people don't have their own plants because so many of us have pets and pets like to eat things that they aren't supposed to.

  • @WormholeJim

    @WormholeJim

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@danieldevito6380 It seems more like an excuse for not having plants than an actual hindrance for having them, I'll have to say lololol. I used to have a cat, though, who would chew on the leaves as you mention. I don't think he ate it as much as he was cleaning his teeth or massaging his gums or something. Just punching a lot of holes in the surface to a point where little bits would come off. Anyway, my answer to this is abundance. It won't matter if some animal or other eats some if you purposefully supply more plants in anticipation of them doing that. I also grow weed, see, out in the garden. And deer comes in and nibble them in exactly all the wrong places for them to grow full and well in those bushy, christmas-tree shapes. So I grow a ton, trowing the seeds in great handfuls and not bothering to stamp them into the soil. The deer takes care of the rest for me; fertilizing, weeding out and even pruning towards harvest time. It's kind of awesome, this type of collaboration that just happens if you allow for it.

    aloe is great for burns, but i agree with the report, box store aloe seems to be just gel and coloring, while this orangic stuff i get from a wholesaler is the real deal. big difference in the efficacy, ime.

    Typical. Modern slave being pround of being so fast. Occasionally pat at the back with some empty words to his ears. One they he trips over, brakes his leg and he gets a fk all. Capitalism is much better than colonialism. Morons chasing artificial carrots. In colonialism or serfdom no one was eager to chase artificial carrot becuase they new the carrot is fake.
