Out standing review! I always like your videos they are very informative. I saw this HoverAir for the first time on another channel. It impressed me so much I was determined to buy one. That channel then did a giveaway and I was selected to get it from them. But it has been over. Month and they have never sent it... Communicated with them and still waiting. So now I'm just going to purchase through your link. Your review was 100x better than any I have seen. I am certified Drone pilot in the US and do a lot if commercial work and just wanted this for fun with friends and family. Plus I can see using this on jobs by my assistant to capture some bts footage on out jobs. Thanks 👍

Hi, really enjoyed your vlog on the HoverAir X1. Please can you tell me whether it successfully followed your under the small bridge and also in one scene it seemed to ‘follow’ (track) you from the front, is this possible or only from behind?

This is sweet! Can this shoot you from the front as you're advancing toward it? In other words, flying backwards as it tracks you coming toward it.

I know it’s expensive. But we are going on a vacation to BVI. I want a way to take some shots that will be beautiful, that take in all of the beautiful sights around us. What kind of price can you attach to that? Multiple experiences that you can only remember, and will never actually be experienced unless you jut buy it and use it. The only other alternative is a selfie stick and a camera that does a bit of wide angle. And it’s ok if budget rules the day for what is happening. Keep in mind that buying this unit isn’t just an expensive purchase. its an investment in your future, and along the way imagine the memories that you’ll capture along the way!

It's a nifty little drone. I'll give it that. I definitely like the idea of an algorithm used for capturing footage and I hope that idea is explored in conjuction with gps drones in the future. The price is really high for the product, seeing as it is only meant to capture short simple clips. And 11 minutes is just to short of a battery life for me. Im definitely the type to need a bunch of takes. The noise is horrendous, Im not to excited to hear these flying around out on my hikes or fishing trips but all drones could use some work in the noise reduction department. I love the prop gaurds and how co.pact and portable it is. Its definitely a solid product. Hopefully that price will come down a bit because the pricing is just too ambitous.

I saw this drone a few months ago on a cycling channel. I was impressed with it as it will be great for cycling videos

Does it record sound as well?

Since I have the Mini 3 pro and have not used it to it full potential... I found this one could be so quick and easy to shoot small, short clips. I'm really new to editing and combining video with multiple cameras. You mentioned this records in 2.7k wouldn't the rest of the video need to be recorded in 2.7k as well? As always, you inspire us to create! Greg

Great video! I am thinking about using it for proposing to my gf. It will be an indoor setting. Do you feel hover air is proper for that? (especially when it comes to tracking multiple people)

Indoor works fine with enough light. It only follows one particular person who it tracks.

I've seen someone test that here on YT but the drone didn't recognise the vehicle and continued to hover in it's starting position. Probably, like many CCTV systems, it will only recognise and track the human form

Hi N. I like the company's concept. This drone has the "wow" factor, but for a price. The combo deal is the way to go. Questions? Ok, it tracks a single person in a wide open area. What happens with several people or a family with energetic kids in the picture walking down a path or near other moving traffic approaching on the same path? Will the drone get confused, stop or crash? You also said the drone keeps you framed in the shot when moving around. Does the camera's gimbal motor auto adjust up and down as the drone moves with you? Another great review. Hope Santa is listening. Thanks.

Hey! That's a great question. Let me test the tracking with multiple people and get back to you. The cameras gimbals does auto adjust up and down to keep you framed in the center.

Great review. Looks like a fun product and if was under AU$200 then I would definitely get one but here in Australia it looks like it would be around the AU$700 mark for the combo. A bit too steep for a flying selfie camera. I wonder if it could be set to follow my dog as well? Now that would be a great feature. 😀

was thinking of using it to track dogs. however. the other day saw another youtuber tried set it up with dog but failed. guess it's only for people tracking. Not animals :(

Every time I watch one of these X1 videos I get such a pain in the wallet that all the moths start flying out. So I'm not going to watch. But thanks for posting it anyway.

It's no wonder this drone is so expensive. The manufacturer must have sent out dozens upon dozens of them for free to KZreadrs for review😅. This channel is a genuine and legit drone channel, so fine, and it's a very good review, but search "HoverAir X1" and there are countless videos

Get a bunch of these and run through an area where Sasquatch are. They'd lose their minds. 😂

Its amazing how all of these drones get pushed out at the same time to all the drone channels. Captain drone, drone creative, drone camps etc… these chinese companies should take note and not send the products to everyone at the same time, it makes it obvious and will make me personally steer clear of any products these guys are selling

That's mostly because new drone releases are planned around each other. Two competing companies won't usually release 2 different types of drones at the same time to avoid a decrease in sales but sometimes will release 2 competing drones that are similar at the same time so that they can remain a competitor. It has nothing to do with KZread reviewers conspiring against you, and everything to do with marketing and business. And any time a new product releases youtube reviewers specific to those products are going to review it.

The price is simply unreasonable. The Mini 2 SE is a bit cheaper, if I remember correctly, and there is no comparison performance-wise.

This is the quality recorded by my iPhone 13 Mini. If you wanted higher quality you could attach an external microphone or lav to your phone. I do think the AI ability to remove the loud noise of the drone from the recordings is a handy feature - especially considering a lot of people will be using the clips straight from this drone and won't have the software or want to take the time to do noise reduction.

@@TheDroneCreative Why bother if it's entirely out of sync? The audio issue isn't due to the phone; I use the iPhone 11 Pro for content creation, and it's certainly not the cause.

​@@aleksaognjanovictakes 5 seconds to sync in post. Do the clap test prior to speaking, and line up the sound waves in post. Literally 5 seconds. Very useful tool. iPhones sound like trash. Use a DJI wireless lapel mic and you're golden.
