When u take out the scooter from the box U have to charge it doesn’t matter what is says on the display Because it might say is full when it really isn’t connected the cable is a light when green then is fully charged

I applied for a Amazon Prime Card and got a $150 gift card for being approved. This exact model was on sale from $399 to $176. I paid about $40 after tax. I get it June 1st and i cant wait. I work about 3 miles away from home and i hate driving my car to work everyday, and i want something to explore the city with on weekends. For $40 after the promotion it was a great deal and i hope it saves a little gas, creates some fun moments, and offers great utility

Do the 10inch tire upgrade it's night and day riding, everything from the m365 scooter fits this scooter. I also did a extra battery install and disconnected the 15mph safety wire now it goes 20mph and I weigh 220lbs.

@@Benjiiherr same as the m365 scooters the journey connector is a xt60 though or you can buy a m365 battery it has 30% more capacity and also higher amp cells.

@@muhammedjah6803 take the cover off where the battery and controller is, it's a white wire coming from the motor it's for the speed regulator. The dash doesn't read over 15mph so you have to use a gps speedometer app.

@@tleong9587 so far it's running like new after it shutting down I haven't pushed it as hard. Range wise I get around 6-8ish miles depends on your weight and kind of terrain. I weigh 180lbs. If you're just going on flat ground at all times I've heard people getting over 10mile range.

Mine shut off on me like that too I unscrewed the bottom and in the front there's a little white wire with a plug and the plug had gotten loose so I electrical taped and zip ties it tight and now it's fixed

Looks like you didn’t install all 4 screws when you attached the handlebar to the stem.

youre missing the screws. it requires 4 back to back

If you go on first gear and cruise mode it mediately it will go on cruise mode at any time

When I First Bought This Scooter And I Was Riding Up A Slight Grade For About A Quarter Mile. It Shut Off And I assumed It Was A Safety For Overheating. I Let It Cool Down For Less Than A Min, Turn Back On And Now When I Go Up A Slight Grade Or ANY HILL. I Push Gently, Not Much Effort, Helping It Along And It Will Never Shut Off On Me, Plus Battery Last Longer. SO YEAH. If It Turns Off On You. NO BIGGY :)

Mine was an easy fix it was a white wire with a loose plug that I taped and zip tied tight and its flawless

I’m buying this JUST to get be back & forth from my part time job at a hardware store. The store’s just 1.4 miles there AND back. I’m around 180 pounds. So to those of you who currently use this model, would you think I’m making a good purchase??! (Brand new to e scooters, etc. Actually just starting looking today…lol)

You can speed control at any speed. Just difficult to get it exactly where you want it

Every one of these larger Hover-1 scooters I've purchased except the Rally and Eagle has had the shutdown problem. You just need to wait about a minute and it will power back on again. I don't know what the issue is, but it's definitely disappointing to say the least. I also own a newer even larger model called Alpha with 10" tires, Bluetooth speaker, and extra deck lighting which doesn't seem to have the shutdown issue, but the cruise control doesn't seem to work on it. Really poor quality unfortunately.

@@elimaki4833 It has a large deck with 10" tires, Bluetooth speaker to play music, and extra lighting. Other than that there isn't a difference from the other ones. It's heavier because the battery is larger, but for me it doesn't really go any faster than the Journey or Pioneer.

@@chrisb.1214 do u own the Pioneer one? It's the same as the journey in terms of specs. If so, does it also have the overheat shutdown problem? Btw, i just bought the pioneer on sale for 198, $238 overall with tax and protection plan. It'll be my first ever scooter/electric scooter lol

So what’s the difference between the hover eagle and the hover journey? Besides the size of the tires?

The Eagle tires are hard rubber so no flats. The Eagle has a lever for the brake looks the same as accelerator. The wires are hidden. The charger is located on the neck. Specs from the box. 264 lbs, 15mph, 7mi per charge, led headlight, cruiser control, 2 speed modes eco and sport, and 6.5 solid tires. After 3 weeks I got an error code E1. Contacted the company and they are sending me a replacement but it's the journey. I'm waiting to find out the difference. I read air filled tires gives a smoother ride but you get flats which are a pain to fix. Price difference is $150 more for journey. Let's see if it's worth it.

@@y_to_the_cgaming8415 I no longer have it. I had a wreck on it nothing against the scooter itself but I do not recommend anybody, and I mean anybody riding electric scooters! I broke my elbow, of course I was not wearing elbow pads and I was just learning to ride it, but I recommend no one riding them. I am a go-getter type person but the wheels on this scooter are so small that if you are going about 9 miles an hour and you hit a crack in the sidewalk or a big enough pothole, you will go down in mere seconds. It's not like riding a bike where you usually roll right over it. I went down in mere seconds. It knocked me out! And I am a very careful Rider, bike rider. I had no time to react. One second I was riding the next second I was down. Have fun of course, but all I'm saying is, be careful!!!!! Wear elbow pads and knee pads!! No matter how dumb you think you might look in them!! Where them!! These things can be dangerous! I thank God I wasn't going any faster!! This also reinvigorates in me never to buy or ride a motorcycle either. Life is too short and the less protection you have against the road, and the faster you go, the higher your odds of injury or worse. Anyway, this is my opinion on the scooter, but please have fun, just be safe. I just don't want anybody to get hurt!! Much love from Louisville Kentucky!!

I see that regen brake on this model is very harsh, Does anyone know how to disable regen brake. I am fine with mechanical friction disc brake and I dont like regen electronic brake.

If you can find one Some Walmarts have them clearance for $99 I bought 2 they're called the pioneer instead of journey it's the exact same scooter just named a different model for Walmart.

It doesn’t have to be at top speed to activate cruise control. You just have to hold it steady at a certain speed for 5 seconds

jovani arreola That wasn’t cruise control. The throttle isn’t retractable, she has to push it up and down. Kinda like a manual car.
