Houston weather: Steamy Wednesday night in the 90s, heat index to reach 100s
HEAT ADVISORY has been extended until 8 pm Thursday for Houston with heat index values near 105 and over a million Houstonians still without power. Drink lots of water and try to find places with A/C such as a cooling center. Also, do what you can to protect holes in your roof as rain chances are higher the next three days. Get prepared, people. The time is NOW! The government is not going to help you, it is up to YOU! Get yourself a medium-sized generator that will run a window-unit A/C. Keep a decent supply of gas on hand (10 gallons would last 3 days running generator sparingly). Also, have generator and space heater ready for the next ICE STORM (remember that? Did you PREPARE after that nightmare?)

Leadership has nothing to do with a natural disaster like hurricane. You have same thing ongoing all this years....including even a little rain flooding everything in Houston and around....get rid of drug dealers and illegals...that could help spending more of the tax dollar on necessary things like roads, drainage, housing, etc...
