It's not the draft, it's the people who make the decisions and the coaching staff. How many 1st or 2nd picks have the Texans wasted through the years? Take a min to go look and you'll see what I'm saying. We used to have a coach who only liked to run 98% of the time 😞

im probably the only Texans fan in my city down in FL. Had my boys calling me after that one play on face time saying "that's how y'all feeling??" that deep throw was beautiful!!!!!

CJ Stroud is going to be one hell of an NFL QB. Exciting future for the Texans. Colts have nothing to be ashamed of, to get this close to playoffs with a backup QB, very impressive. Both teams have great rookie coaches.

Maybe, but the colts lost 3 of their last 5 games. What does that really tell you? They were fortunate in games that were close, like Baltimore, and got blown out by Bengals and falcons. Didn't deserve any real attention.

We have to admit, when AR went down, we were not expecting Gardner Minshew to lead the Colts this far. I certainly was not. For Minshew to put the team on his back Week after Week and bring them to a win and in situation is amazing itself, not to mention the Colts were just a yard away from getting close to a TD at the end. As a Ravens Fan, much respect to the Colts who fought all the way till the very end. Thank you to all for the likes!

The Texans are gonna be contenders within a couple years, if they're winning the division already with a rookie QB and a general lack of talent in most other areas. It's gonna be a good game against the Browns; I think Cleveland is pushing their luck with Flacco.

Hope Minshew gets a starting job next year someplace. That guy just continues to shine. He was on the run from a collapsing pocket all year and still managed a great season. Give him a big line and time as a pocket passer and he’ll lead any team to the playoffs. Love his background story.

This team is special. Both teams are good and should be proud of a good season. Colts and Texans have a young core with bright futures with potential to become a super bowl contender for years to come. Great win by the Texans and CJ Stroud has been unbelievably good as a rookie.

Yep. Special teams are made up of special players and sometimes coaches. Stroud and Nico Collins are those guys. We all know Stroud is the man but Nico is also that dude. A really special head coach in Demeco that perfectly connects with a young team in a unique way because he himself is so young AND accomplished and is thus able to get more from players than other coaches could. It's been fun watching the journey. I have a feeling we are watching the start of something great.

As a Texans fan...it's pretty cool to see our division being so competitive! The better our competitors, the better it makes us!

Man, I'm so happy for Coach Ryans & CJ. Not a Texans fan but those two are definitely COTY & ROTY, respectively. The future looks bright for all my football brothers & sisters who are fans of the Texans. Y'all cherish it & ride the wave and highs...I hope there are more of those in store in the future for y'all. This was a Great Saturday of football y'all 😊

The Houston Texans finished the season at 10-7🔵🔴⚪️🐂🤟 They clinched their first playoff berth and AFC South Division Title for the first time since 2019 also the #4 Seed in the AFC

I haven’t been watching NFL for as many years as most people in the comments, probably about 8 years properly in depth but Stroud is the best rookie QB I’ve ever seen. Exceptional and how he looks like he’s been playing at the highest level for years is crazy.

Nico Collins had a great performance and his stats can prove it. He had 9 receptions, 195 receiving yards, 21.6 yards per reception and single TD. Well Done 👍🏼

As a Panthers fan, this really makes my skin itch, but I have to give credit where credit is due. The Texans have a legit team and the fact that they were able to turn things around speaks volumes to a young roster and young coach who wanted to turn this thing around. I still believe in Bryce Young (assuming that we will get weapons around him, but considering we should've kept CMC and DJ Moore and gave up Brian Burns instead since we didn't extend him SMH), but there are better days ahead for the Texans. Congratulations and enjoy the playoffs. You fans have earned it!

I’m no expert but if you watch CJ Stroud anticipation throws when he was in college at Ohio State you could see he was the real deal.. Bryce is not bad but he’s not the pocket passer Stroud is..

True, but it was a horrendous throw by Minshew. Goodson was wide open, all Minshew had to do was set his feet and throw it to him. Instead he threw off his back foot in a clean pocket and the ball was well behind Goodson

This is amazing young coach and young team H TOWN you should be proud!

With the season on the line, it’s insane how calm, poise, & collected CJ Stroud is especially as a rookie😮 The future looks great for NFL🤯

Such a disappointing end to what was a heck of a ride season as a Colts fan. Stroud is a bad man though. Congrats Houston, you guys have a good one. Can't wait to see Richardson vs Stroud for years to come 🔥

Phenomenal game by Stroud, Texans as a team deserve all the respect for the turnaround this season. I will say tho (despite not even being a colts fan) that the drop in the end there on 4th and 1 hurt like hell. Shame to see such a great game (from both teams) end like that.

CJ Stroud, without a doubt in my mind, would be the MVP if he hasn’t missed time.

I love how Nico Tore through the Coltz and how the secondary really stepped up happy to see Kareem tackling Boyz how they should be tackled..Sean Taylor style..

DeMeco Ryans really went from leading the Texans as a defensive captain to leading them to the playoffs as a first-year head coach🔥🔥

I sure hope so. After being a long suffering Texans fan and (Oilers fan before that) this is the most optimistic I have been for a long time. We have the pieces to start something great but then I remember how NY Jets fans thought Eric Mangini was going to lead them to a decade of future glory after his great first season as coach and then I temper my expectations but remain very hopeful for the future.

Imagine literally dropping your season! Congrats to the Texans! This solidifies Ryans and Stroud for Coach and Rookie of the Year. Geez, Nico Collins is just unstoppable! My Colts did extremely well with Minshew! I'm still proud!

I’m looking forward to next season for the Texans. Nico Collins and Tank Dell both Pro Bowl level talents on the field at the same time with Stroud throwing the ball will just be wild

The last pass of Colts will be replayed a lot…

Not a fan of either team (Chiefs Kingdom), but watching CJ Stroud play as a rookie has been incredible. Texans hit a home run on that draft pick.

Strouds quickness and strength on his pass release is phenomenal.

Just hate to see the season end on a flubbed check down like that . Devastating

As a lifelong Texans fan who use to watch Peyton Manning and the Colts destroy my team year after year, this game was awesome!

Great job Demeco Ryan’s for helping this Texans team finally make a playoff run I loved some of his playcalls
