I worked as a paralegal for years. I did my internship in criminal law. I lost 40 lbs and lost sleep for months. I will NEVER WORK IN CRIMINAL LAW FOR THAT REASON. This sounds so shady for the attorney to say witnesses means people knew she was in a bad situation and did not help her.

@@carlwest.9057 there is a need for defense attorneys because there are innocent people accused but finding a defense attorney who will not represent someone they don't believe is innocent. They chase money and become jaded over years. But we have to have someone to defend the innocent who are charged. Not all defense attorneys are bad. But many are.

There’s no way you just sat there in an interview and said this lady had a mental health issue, but didn’t contact fire rescue or any Mental Health Resource Center. Even worse, there’s children involved. So, is it safe to say that if he didn’t actually hold her captive that he should be held for child endangerment?

Dude it’s not race at all, white people commit the most crime of any race. It’s not a race thing it’s a culture issue and economic issue. Culture in the in the way there is a pattern of harmful practices. This culture transcends race. People that have one parent are more likely to commit crimes, high school dropouts also more likely to commit crimes. Children who parents are teen parents are more likely to commit crime. Economic issue can cause one to turn to a life of crime as a survival method. Perhaps they grew up with one parent who have to work 2 jobs so is hardly around and with little money kid turns to a group of friends that can give him the “high life” by that I mean turn to gangs and drugs that’s one possible example there many ways people turn to a life of crime. The real issue is addressing broken families and educating our kids taking steps to prevent people from falling down the wrong path and correcting them this will save us money in the long run as we aren’t paying for all these court employees police officers and thousands of other things. Correctional institutions (jails and prisons) are the most expensive thing any town has to pay for excluding cost of law enforcement and courts

One thing I'd like to see or know is if the victim was tied down or handcuffed. Was the victim able to leave, and open the doors from the inside? What were the conditions in the garage? Where are her kids? Was she able to communicate with them? In my opinion, at this point, until the facts and evidence are heard and shown, some things don't make sense or add up.
