Great job on making your Mexican food! That’s pretty good for someone who’s never made it before! I’m super impressed.

A tip I have picked up for picking a good avocado is if you remove the stem tip and check the colour under its a good indication of the ripeness of the fruit. The paler the batter, brown is going over/bad. Hope this helps

The past year I have gotten so much more into buying and eating Japanese snacks to the point where I just love doing it. I really love exploring new cultures and traditions. It seems like all of the Asian groups does such a good job with that because now you can buy foods from all over the world on websites, apps, or even at Asian stores, if you’re home country has those and hometowns. I love how pretty your roses are. I change my flower water every day and rinse the stems off. They keep longer that way.

Another lovely gentle video with lots of ideas for tasty recipes, thank you. Your boys are charming, I too used to love dinner time when we would all sit down together and have a lovely family time. Sadly I am on my own now so food is more of a necessity rather than a pleasure when you have no-one to share it with, but I go stay for long week-ends with my son Steven every now and then and that is lovely. We have tacos at least once a week here in the states. We use ground pork a lot instead of ground beef. Both are very tasty. I would also suggest adding some cilantro to your tacos/burritos. Everything looked so yummy.

You are such a good mom, I always love watching the fun things you do with your boys. It reminds me of when my two girls were that age…🥰 I spent years working at a florist, so I just wanted to add that if you’ll cut your flower stems at a diagonal instead of straight across, they’ll soak up more water and live longer. But you may already have done that and I missed it. 😅 Anyways, lots of love from New York!!!! ❤

Great video! Fajita mix is really easy to make! A typical Mexican food mix is: Cumin Garlic powder Paprika Salt Pepper Chilli powder (for spicy) Saves you buying El Paso (which we get a lot in the UK) 🧡Hope this helps xx

From a native Californian, try some diced purple onions and a dollop or two of sour cream next time. Sour cream puts it over the top! 😉 We also use that taco seasoning mix, lol!

Love the round shaped fruits, but I'm too lazy to do that. I tried once and gave up half way 😅🤣I just dice it now and taste the same. I nowadays always have jalapeno pickles in my refrigerator. It's good in a spice sauce or added to salads and such. At first i was hesitant to buy them as you said it's so much, but we always use them up. I now for the first time try to grow them in a pot outside and it seems to work really well. looking forward to my first harvest soon. In more japanese cooking, you can make kara age spicier with the japlapeno, or us it in mixed tempure, or chijimi for example. And teh habanero sauce I would use for a sweet and spice chicken marinade/sauce (mix honey, soy sauce and the habanero sauce). Since a couple of years we do eat a lot of different tortilla based meals as it is easy and with teh filling you have so much choice. Of course the more tex mex flavours, but it also works with korean fried chicken, kebab or even chicken teriyaki. I wish I had more mom friends around where I live. Most of my friends live far away. so it's only once or perhaps a couple of times a year I see them of I only know them online. It would be fun to go out a little bit more like you did with your friends.

With avocados, I look for dark skin and peach softness but not firm nor squishy. If the avocado's skin is green and/or firm, I put it next to an apple for few hours but no more than one day.

I love the Biore sunscreen, having tried it when I visited Tokyo in March. They just started selling it here in Ireland but it's nearly 4 times the price! 😧I still buy it but only because most sunscreen here is nearly €20 anyway and it makes my skin so glowy 😊

Spice-oholic 😂 Since your trying Mexican inspired food look up taco soup recipe. Simple recipe similar to chili. I usually make cornbread or serve with tortilla chips. Topping the soup with some sour cream is a must 😆 But it’s a good hardy soup and you can spice it up to your taste 😉

Hello Linna. Sorry to be late chatting to you, but my eldest son was 49 years old last weekend and my 2 sons and I like to get together for a meal to celebrate birthdays. Usually we order take out, but this year he wanted mum to cook and it takes me longer these days to get big meals together😂. You are looking very elegant all the time. You are not having any treats with your tea I think you have lost some weight. You are a brilliant mum. Your melon baller, I have one in my kitchen drawer.
