The thing about feminism: It's about a woman's freedom of choice. That means SHE can do what SHE wants. Be it stay home and have 14 kids or spend her entire life on research in a lab without partner or kids. Or anything, literally anything SHE WANTS. It's about having equal rights. Not being equal to a man. If whatever she does, is what she wants, NO ONE has the right to criticise her choice. She's living her life, letting you live yours. She isn't telling you what to do or say or think or feel or how to live, so back up and mind your own business. @Vamoo examples of what women weren't allowed to do before feminism: vote, work, marry who they want, get equal pay when women eventually started working, get credit for their achievement etc... as to why they didn't form their own society because this is real life and not an episode of Rick and Morty feminism is about equal rights and fixing an unjust system not running way from its problems.

@사탕사탕 The thing is that many Korean women like to be housewives is because of their culture and macho past that has limited the vision and ambition of many women that is now changing but it will only be 100% of professional women with abitions with the passage of Generations cannot expect all of them to be like this, which is why there are some women who really love being housewives. But as I said it is something cultural and generational over time this taste will disappear, being a housewife is nice but as part of your job not all your work.

i love seeing a married couple so sweet to each other, a hard working busy man with a wife who keeps everything under control at home and works for herself on the side. she had so much determination and care for herself and the life that she has. i can see watching the first few minutes of her videos that she is grateful for what she has worked for and what she has been given from her husband. from my understanding, these are very important qualities for a korean woman to have in their culture. she is the ideal wife, daughter, and friend. :) you are wonderful Roha!!!

About the wife, she may be a house wife but she doesn't just sit and do nothing, she actually make her husband happy, you know how much effort cooking is?! AND based on how she puts "please" on the sub and laughs naturally when being complimented by her hubby, she's nice. The husband work and makes her happy in return AND appreciates his wife's effort. 2 people supporting each other and being happy. Stop complaining and count your blessings instead of being jealous and insecure 😑

I think most people are just jealous that they can't do the same. Most people who are housewifes have husbands who earn enough to support them, and their family. My mother alwasy wanted to be one but never could because my parents just never made enough. I thnk it's just more jealousy of the privilage than anything else...

결혼을 앞두고 있어서 부쩍 요리에 관심이 많아져 찾아보다가 우연히 로하님 유튜브를 보게되었는데 20대 주부라고 하는게 놀랄정도로 요리도 잘하시는 것 같아요. 일도 다니면서 저렇게까지 하는게 너무 대단한것같아요!! 남편분 너무 좋으실듯ㅋㅋㅋ 자주 보러올께요💙

Please make sure your partner cooks and cleans as well. Do not become his/her slave. Marriage should be a partnership, not a dictatorship.

A partner should always be involved since it is their food and their home too. However if a woman Wants to cook and be a housewife, that’s doesn’t mean she is a maid. It’s just so disrespectful to the woman to equate their contribution and their hard work to her home as just a slave to the family when a man that goes to work and is a slave to capitalism is deemed a hard-worker and smart. Both partners should be involved the public and domestic spheres (like this creator who works on YT and at home) but if they decide to focus on their comparative advantage of their skills, that’s doesn’t make the person (man/women) who stays home a maid. I understand your sentiment, but it’s really an issue when someone wants to work and are being kept from it. Let’s not treat people like they are oppressed because they don’t the lifestyle you want.

Memoria James why would she continue to cook and clean all night? I think my point was clear, you should reread it. I said both should be involved. If someone does *Decide* to work at home to keep the place the place maintained, it is just as important and should be appreciated as someone that comes home from work. Calling someone that wants to be a house wife/husband a maid for undermines them as a person and shows that you (not specifically you) don't know how hard it is to maintain a home.
