How do you see the case impacting the Cougars?
Good stuff. SMU was actually the last team to sneak into a power conference, and poor Washington State and Oregon State the last demoted from the "old" system of power conferences. We shall see how that works out going forward. I continue to suspect that one or two "super conferences" will erect a system where perhaps 10-15 programs use all the rest of college football as their minor leagues, plucking the best players each off-season.
Parker, Houston has one year in the P4 , but 13 other BigXII schools had the benefit of full P5 income going back to 2016, which is the year the players comp has to go back to under the settlement. Will Houston's obligation to former players be pro rated to our G5 incomes previous to 2023?
How about compensating the University if you decide to transfer either from the player or the university you are transfering to?
