I spent 3 weeks in Japan in November and didn't have nearly enough time to do everything i wanted - i can't imagine going all that way for only 5 days!! Hope you had a lovely time 😊

I heard you mention marble and glass top for your island. We did a big reno and went with marble. We had Tuffskin applied to it so it doesn’t stain or etch and it was worth every penny. You can have the beautiful marble without the worry.

Regarding baggage reclaim. Depending on the type of aircraft and flight, they aim to have the first bags on belt within half an hour but the last bag can take a while. There is a whole system to handle it under the airport.

Get the British gas boiler cover. £40 a month roughly and they come out 24/7

Agree about jet lag, and I'm someone who cannot sleep on a plane. You should definitely try to do more of Japan if you get the chance to go back - Tokyo is amazing but theres loads of other incredible places too!

I love the canon r8 their ultra wide lens go all the way to 10mm (rf-s is for crop sensor if you put it on a full frame your looking at a 1.5x)

Yes, Heathrow baggage is a nightmare, The same 15-20 bags going round for over an hour. The board said they had all been delivered for our flight but there was still loads of people from our flight waiting for at least another 30-45 minutes

If you go to Japan again, make sure you go to Disneyland and DisneySea - they’re amazing and merchandise there is out of this world. Disney there is not actually managed by Walt Disney.
