The energy of your videos when you've been rested and spent time with Jenn is more balanced and adventurous than your nomadic roaming videos. Stay home, rest up, relax as if you don't take care of you there won't be any videos! Consider it strategic planning time!
Suggestion for house name - Possum Hollow

That's great but it Jen's place too so would have to include her 💞
I still think there’s room in the back yard for the roller coaster 🎢
While on your break, how about do some reaction videos to some of your old videos? Maybe you could elaborate on some of your travels and the changes that you've noticed over time.

That would be fun, not a steady dose of it, but I would enjoy that. And sometimes having Jenn join in on the commentary.

Ooh, ooh, I've got another one! Compilation videos? Like "Jacob's Greatest Hits?" Such as the camel attack, first video with Jen, meeting up out west with Jacob's mom and family, haunted Meow Wolf/camera trouble? Or themes? "Funny things Jacob has said," "Best Posing Spots/Photo Ops?" Kewpies? Sharks' eyes?

"...Jacob's Favorite Places," "Jacob's NOT Favorite Places," "Favorite Buddy (Boogie, Adam...) Videos," "Best Moments of Places Jacob Has Visited More Than Once..." The possibilities go on and on.
You finally have a home and with Jen, It says a lot. You deserve both and go with the flow of it.😊 You are a nice person and are lucky you found such a creative life that shares with others your great adventures.I get to see things I will never see Thankyou for what you do.
You should get one of those claw machines to display your fury's..

No pun intended, but PRIZE WINNING POST! What a great idea! And even if its not plugged in, it could hold your plushies from all over when the Scambler overflows! :)

You guys are making awesome progress on your home!! You deserve a full bottle of shampoo! 😊 I'm so happy for you both!❤
home is where the heart is
Good morning Jacob, great seeing you. So glad you're at home. You work hard bringing us great vids. Have a wonderful day
Hey Carpetbagger, you should put a train shelf all the way around your living room..to display all your oddities. Xo! Love your place! Thanks for sharing!,
Congratulations on finally getting a big shampoo. It was a sweet story. I love you and Jenny. ❤❤
Yes ! The smashed penny collection !!!! 🎉
I would say this, Jacob- If you are traveling because you love it and have a drive for creating content everyday (which I suspect is the case), then keep doing it exactly how you want. If you’re traveling to avoid anything (I doubt thats the case) then maybe reconsider your schedule some. We will be here- 3 videos/week 5 videos/week 7 videos/week or anything in between, your base will be here.
As a person who collects things (mostly toys from my childhood) I have a suggestion for you. Start a shelf that is filled with the most recent things you have acquired. I have shelf that usually has things from the past month that I display. It is kind of like the shelf that introduces the items I most recently acquired to the rest of my collection. I leave them there for about a month or so, and then move them to their new homes to make room for more newly acquired things. You both seem to enjoy not only displaying your stuff, but also having it displayed where you see it every day, so I figured I'd drop an idea here for you. I love the channel and hope that you continue to do this for as long as you want. Thank you for sharing so much with those of us who can't go to many of these places for any number of different reasons.
You can call home, base camp or Jenn camp, home base. The place you can hang your hat.I'm so glad you have Jenn in your life she keeps the home fires burning and gives you a reason to look forward to coming home. Love the road but enjoy home.
I’m very happy your home for a bit❣️enjoy yourself at HOME❤
Take as much time off as you need! We love the home videos and you and Jen exploring things nearby.
Out here in Lubbock we have Prairie Dog Pete on groundhog’s day. You should consider coming out one year.
You're doing great. May God bless you and Jesus be by your side during your travels. No need to apologize for anything you may seem as a shortcoming. Josh from NC.
Hey Jacob and Jennifer 🙋🏽. I hope you're having a wonderful day ‼️❤️👋🏾
I love your videos so much, the places you go to, give such a nostalgic comforting feeling. Even if I’ve never even been there.
Love everything you do Jacob! You and Jen are so suited for one another. It does my heart good to see you both so happy and with so many common interests, too. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. Praying for safe travels always.
You can call your headquarters Carpetbagger Hunker Bunker!

But it’s Jenn’s home too. I hope they come up with a name that combines both of them.
Might I suggest for the house name Carpetbagger's Wonderous Roadside Odditorium & Bunker. Also, Clark looked resplendent with his bead necklace.

As the owner/proprietor of the similarly wordy Mad Century Studios and the House of the Improbable I endorse this name..!
Turning your home into a museum!
Your house is looking great thus far, about the bar stools, you need to find some of the round felt ends that go on the bottom of chair legs, and that would save your wood floor from scratches. Thanks for the uploaded video. Stay safe
With Jen and her onslaught of funko pops maybe the basement stays as the bunker and the house becomes the funker
Hey Jacob, the groundhog day celebration in Woodstock Illinois is good. It's where the movie groundhog day was filmed.
I think it is nice to share your experiences. Finding a balance can take a while, be patient! You and Jenn are right where you belong...together, even when not in the same place, you are together!
The Bagger Bunker
Maybe call it Moquette Manor, which is another word for carpet in French. I think it sounds fancy.
Hope you find the right home/work balance. Many people struggle with this, particularly now that we all have those electronic devices that allow people to contact us day or night with "urgent" requests. There's a lot of people tapping away, completing work projects, in the middle of the night. Also, I just want to say that I am so glad that you and Jen found each other. Keep up the good work, Jen! The house is really shaping up nicely.
Audio is 2. Cam is 3rd. Content is priceless. Keep up with the content. That is your gift, and yours alone.
This was a fun tour of the homestead and the memories You and Jenn have made.
I really love the home update videos. It gives you a chance to rest, and we still get to see you, Jenn, and all of your cool stuff!
Hi Jacob, these are one of our favorite vlogs.
Warm the stickers with a hairdryer and very slowly peel them loose. Press them down on wax paper. Then peel them off later and you can spray them with some extra adhesive and attach them to sheet magnet material. Keep them forever.
You are slowly turning your house into a museum. I’m a fan of museums, that’s why I subscribed to your channel.
I absolutely love this video 😀how awesome that you and Jen are making the house into a HOME together. You’ll find the balance you both need, Jen seems to me like an extremely loving and caring person and meant you knowing what you do for a living. I think you make a good couple. Always looking forward to your new videos thanks for sharing your life
Glad you are having some time at home !!!! I have to say I just how your home is shaping up Its super cool Jacob.. I love how its all getting organized and each collection has a place of its own.. XXX
29:41 I actually did that place myself in museum in Little Canada last year. I am over next to the Greyhound Bus in front of Union Station in the blue shirt in the Toronto exhibit. Now my relatives plan to visit Little Canada and do the same thing, plus be placed near there. Have your whole extended family and friends placed in the museum.
good video! 😸😄 can't wait until the next one.
This was a fun video. Thank you so much for sharing your home and collections with us! I am so happy to see you getting unpacked and settled in. I know you love traveling but as they always say: “there’s no place like home”! Having a stable foundation/ home base will bring such peace. Welcome home Jacob and I look forward to your next adventure!
Thanks for the info. My goal this summer was to ride Leap-the-Dips. Guess that’s not happening. Mothman museum has a Penny smasher now. They didn’t have one before.
I hope you open your PO Box again, we got a small gift for you awhile back.
Watching some old R66 videos of yours, just watching you complete the 72oz challenge again as this posted!
I love looking at peoples collections ❤
Jacob, get some felt circles with glue on one side or velcro circles, attach one side to the terrarium and the other side to the glass. This should stop the glass from moving.. hope that helps my friend.
I started my mold o rama collection this year going to the OKC zoo.
Happy that you have your fish tank up and going, I have a 125 gallon aquarium with about 12 big tropical fish, and live plants
The camera work is great. You’re doing good!
Awe congratulations, I’m so happy for you & Jenn. You made me get emotional seeing you look so happy. 😊❤
Carpetbagger, I have to say you are one of my favorite youtubers! Awesome videos bro!
House? The House of Love and Curiosities
Place is looking great, guys! I love the furniture choices and organization, it's an inspiration ✌️
Thank you for all the content you do for us.
Hi there Jacob you guys have a beautiful home and i love the color on your kitchen
I don't know Jacob, the Bunker is such a perfect name. Maybe you could call it The Vault just for something different? Or maybe something that uses J&J somehow? It would be nice to get both of you in there. The House looks wonderful! 😍
Carpet bagger. Thank you so much for sharing all your very unique treasures in your house. I really enjoyed watching this video. you and Jen are fantastic together both of your videos. Give me joy your Las Vegas fan.
I'm getting ready to start vids of smashing pennies. I'm on Maryland's Easter Shore and Ocean City has tons of them so I'm looking forward to finding them all. I DID NOT KNOW that their were albums for them and am about to order one. Thank you so much for showing off The Bunker. Also love that terrariam table.... Keep that camera! Because I think your retirement plan will be a Carpetbagger Museum. And I can't wait!
Awesome! Thank you, Jacob. Rest well, friend, and I'll catch you on the next vlog. Arthur Childs, Oak Harbor, WA. 🙂
Thanks for the tour. You and Jenn are making a lovely home!!!!!
Good morning Jacob! I love the house tour thank you so much for everything you do. Rest up and just take care of you. We will be here.
Another awesome video as always Jacob you will work things out for sure
Order of things I love to watch you do. 1 - I now love to see you dance! 2 - I love your haunted house reactions. 3 - I love your dark ride reactions. 4 - I love your amusement park visits and reactions. 5 - I love your convention visits and reactions. 6 - I love your oddities stores visits. 7 - I love your state fair visits. 8 I love your cozy little towns visits. 10 - I love your museum visits. And on a personal note, I love your life updates. Which I don’t consider part of your travels but I do consider it necessary. It helps us to connect with you on a more meaningful level.
I've been using a Nikon Z30 for about a month now as my secondary camera (since I don't want to take my expensive DSLR to conventions or on the go) and I've been really satisfied with it so far. I can't speak to it's low-light capabilities, but it has some serious benefits by being able to charge via USB-C, as well as having a cold shoe mount and external mic port. Might be something to at least look at!
Ho Jacob sorry been under the weather so I missed alot but great to see ya again .as always safe travels.
I'm so happy for you and Jen. You all make the perfect couple❤
The bunker looking great and you will figure out your schedule enjoyed this one. I can’t figure out how to get to your pin section - HELP! Thanks hugs to you’re and Jen!
Love seeing the equipment update! Gives us an insight into your equipment and process!
The house looks awesome! Great job to you both ❤ I’m so glad you’re both settling in
I hope that your future plans work out well for you and Jenn. You and Jenn have a really cool collection of various items. Take care, Alan.
You can clean your pennies with toothpaste and a brush, it will make them super shiny again! Also call your house JJ's Crib! J for Jenny and J for Jacob. :) A claw machine like Bernadette said would be an awesome idea!!!
Balance can be hard. I struggle with balance myself.
Some people talk the talk, you my friend, walk the walk. Crazy collection!
Blessings to you and your family and your home.💚🌟
Jacob has the coolest bunker around. His collection is amazing and his passion for Americana is inspiring. I will have to find a book for my collection of smashed pennies. Jacob inspired me to start collecting Mold-O-Rama's. So far I only have 1 but I will keep an eye out for more.
Hey it’s me again. So glad to see some of your home and collections. happy home warming to you and❤️Jenn in OUR wonderful state of North Carolina
I don't tend to notice much variation in video quality unless it's something blatantly obvious, I think your fine until your order arrives.
Loved the tour of your house. Beautiful kitchen, love the wooden table. Like you said, it's great to travel but always nice to come home so you can relax and recharge yourself. Take care Jacob. Let Jen know she's doing a great job of displaying everything!!
Thankyou for showing us Bunker always love to see your goodies😊❤
Thanks for sharing your home and ❤️. Love to you and Jenn.
Yours and Jens house is amazing I love it ! Make sure you show it to us when your done, I also have a lot of strange things in my home it's who I am and it makes me feel comfortable. You have been blessed Jacob in finding a woman like jen that shares the same interest I hope we see her in more of your adventures you both have a child like wonder in the way you see the world don't ever lose it ,I just want to say I love the fish tank and the stuffed coyote in your bunker you house is like a museum a really fun one.i wish you and Jen many years of happiness and stay safe on the road.
I can fully recommend the Sony ZV-1 as an alternative to your G7X. The focus issues don't exist on the ZV-1 and the quality is up to par with the Canon at the moment.
Nice house, I love the " decorations " !!! Wow, what a souvenir, + more, collection !
Frogman Festival in Loveland, Ohio this weekend. Hope to see you there. Georgia Bigfoot in a few weeks in Dillard, GA.
Lol we must have the same dryer, I was confused because I didn’t think we had put anything in
Aww🎉Jenn really did a nice job! Glad you guys are making a home 🦄🐲🐊🦖
Thank you for all the great road trips
Hi, Jacob!,Glad to see you are all are doing great! Best wishes:)
You should check out the carousel museum in Bristol Connecticut and also when it opens at the end of May around Memorial Day weekend, the oldest continuously, operating theme park in New England one of the oldest original roller coasters. This park has as well and it also has a mountainside coaster the length of the theme park it’s called Lake compound and like I said there’s a carousel museum here as well, Connecticut also has a Mystic Seaport not close to Bristol and also has Gillette castle
Thank you so much for sharing! I love your home.
Phil Phil Phil!!!! My late husband went to college in Punxy. He had a friend who got married to the daughter of one of the Inner Circle. Phil came to their wedding and photo bombed EVERY picture.
I really love the dining room table. I’ve been looking for something like that.
Laughed out loud when the stuffed covid made an appearance 🤣 . The house looks great, love everything in it ! Thanks for showing your home!
