I actually missed a whole other section of the house when I made this video! There's also a laundry room/mud room and another half bath that I managed to miss.

Mary every time you said oh it just keeps going there is another room, I swear I thought of the Winchester house 😂 and then the gun safe and I was like yup that's it

I'm so happy you appreciated your Brother's new home...It's not a drive-by cookie cutter type house they build today...It's unique and interesting...I can't imagine having all that room and property...good for them!!! What a nice house. It’s older but has charm. My two selling points are a good sized kitchen with cabinet space and closet space! Lol The third would be bathroom. 😂😂😂 The place I live in now does not have nearly the kitchen and closet space that I need. Thanks for showing us around!

Oh my goodness! I love this beautiful house and the area outside! My Dad is a Wood Worker and he builds beautiful furniture. He would love the shop outside. This makes me miss our old family home in North Carolina! Great memories of cookouts with surrounding family members! Thank you for sharing this with us Mary! I love seeing how unique this house is. When we were moving from Seattle to Georgia, it was a total culture shock. While most of the houses were absolutely gorgeous, there were a few super old souther homes that were in original form still. Random hiding rooms. 3 attics. One of them was above the closet, an outdoor converted to an indoor patio as well. There was a house that we assume was a church of some kind. There was a giant podium with bench seats in the second living room. The podium has a giant gold button that says 'do not touch'.... so of course my realtor and i had to press it. It opened the garage door 🤣 this is an awesome walk through

The "water heater " thing in the closet is a central vac system, its basically a vacuum thats built into your home. My mom had a system like that in the 80s it was super expensive. Instead of a regular vacuum cleaner, you just had a long hose and a handle with the suction part on it (like todays vacuums, but without a motor) and In each room there will be a little hookup vent for you to attach your hose and presto all the dirt and grime gets sucked in that container in the closet.

Mary is so hilarious, she can always bring a smile to my face, her channel deserves more subscribers. I really enjoyed this video and think Mary should consider doing more videos like this one.(I love her ASMR too it's really calming.)

This was an amazing video, I absolutely love the house, the property and the woodworking shop. I don't know why but the red carpet on the second floor reminded me of the movie The Shining. You're funny commentary about the possibility of getting murdered as you're going up the steps was a great prelude to entering the "Redrum" upstairs. 😁 Anyway, I felt like I was right there with you taking the tour. It was so interesting and beautiful to see. It all has so much character and potential. I can tell that the husband did a lot of the woodworking and probably built and installed most of the trim, built-ins, shelves and storage in the house. He put a lot a lot of hard work and craftsmanship into that home for his wife and his family. Part of me feels sad though because when you see things left behind, you often wonder about the people who had lived in these homes, what their life was like and where they are now. It's especially sad when you see that the homeowners were so talented, hard working, healthy and strong....then one day they're too old or not well enough to keep things up and have to leave. I know most people would say "that's life," but it's still a sad part of life. But I'm sure your brother and sister-in-law will make the former owners proud and make the house and property even more beautiful.

I love this house!! It is so flipping cool. I love the way that the bathroom has the scalloped face around the mirror and the lighting. Houses built in the 70 have such a great vibe to them..that house gives off a little haunted feel. Can't explain it, it just has a history to it...Spooky in a way. Just the feeling I get but I love that house, it's so cool. I love the wood box fire place in that family room..how neat is that, and the fact it looks like it's far away from everything and has some land...really neat!! The house is so cool. As soon as I seen the first aid box, I thought that would be so cool if you did a video of you getting the box open. I know you may think I am crazy but I Love the red carpet. They can put candles in the fake fire place. I have seen some great candles fireplaces on Instagram and pinterest.
