This is the most beautiful Compound Type Home , Every space is so unique but it all just flows really well from one room to another . Love It !!!

I enjoyed this tour immensely, and would absolutely love to see more homes designed by this group. The details were well thought out and interiors so meticulous.

Stunning. My third time watching!

I’m rarely interested in these massive homes as they usually come off as cold, excessive and boring. This home, while extravagant, is just exceptional. There is so much warmth and imagination here. I love all the secret nooks and hidden places. It takes an extreme amount of talent to accomplish what has been done here. Kudos to the designer and to the owner who’s dreams have finally come true! This is spectacular!

Well said! It can be hard to appreciate that detail becomes largely ignored with an increase in scale. Kathy Purple Cherry did not do this, though! Such a feat of design.

This whole house is exquisite. Just purely exquisite. And I applaud the attention to detail that was put into everything. I commend the home owner for both collecting art for over 25 years to place in a home that he's dreamed of for 25 years. Edit: The interior designer is talented and meticulous. I give everyone involved in the building, designing and decorating of this home (including the home owners) major props.

Finally someone who gets the suitcase issue. Such subdued intelligent design. Right in the bathroom. Not on the bed or upholstered furniture.

This is what you get when you have someone who's an architect and also specializes in interior design, so many beautiful architectural elements and thoughtful creative design features, stunning! One of my fav episodes on here.

This is an incredibly, beautiful home. The architect who is so , so very talented and the client with a dream that needed someone exceptional to bring it to life. Oh my goodness the detail and thought and craftsmanship that went into this home is amazing. Yet it comes across as a warm, comfortable , beautiful home. After working so hard for 25 years and to see your dream come true is wonderful.

This entire compound leaves me almost speechless! I lived about an hour north of Baltimore for 10 years, so seeing this type of Maryland estate was always a treat for the eyes. This home is incredibly beautiful, warm and welcoming. The art looks like gallery quality-quite a collection! All of the attention paid to even the smallest detail puts this home head and shoulders above most others. This lady-architect or designer-and her firm seem to really get the heart of the client(s) and his/her dreams. Btw, the mud room is my favorite spot in the entire house!!

No, they worked incredibly hard for three decades from nothing to success. The american dream for many.

I liked the areas that were more minimalistic You lost me when you put too many objects. Less is always more.
