Love this. Very tastefully done. No gimmicks, no tacky built-ins; just a comfortable, restful home. The plants help to pull everything together.
I love to see bachelor's pad without the game console and toy collection. Nice, neat and clean home. I like it!

haha, i don't like gaming and toy but maneki-neko is something im into! haha
Older HDB flats are practical. It allows light and wind to shine and flow inside. New HDB is beautiful outside to attract for a reason.

AGREEEEEEEEEEE...new BTO design is just super nonsense
Particularly in the nearby neighborhood, an old HDB Resale flat has a lot of nostalgic elements. Most old HDB kitchens facing the opposing block are fairly widely apart compared to new BTO. If there are no towering buildings in front of the house, the old HDB living room window, is also quite bright where sunlight filtered through seaonally. I also like having a trash chute inside the house rather than outside for privacy and practical reasons.
I love how every room feels warm and cozy. I wonder how each room looks at night. ❤ Thanks for sharing your space.

Nice! How was your renovation experience? Oh yah did you renovate the toilet?
@solosynthesis
Жыл бұрын
The overall experience is not bad. Just that my renovation period is still short of manpower (mainly a lot malaysian carpenter etc can not enter sg to work), so it's a bit delayed, I even moved in before the kitchen cabinet installed. And one thing that very important is that you need to micro monitor your contractor, cos they have a lot of project ongoing, they forget thing easily. Make sure they sent picture after some installation or etc.

Nice place, which is minimalist with greenery to decor. Do you mind sharing the tabao link for your Tv console? For the blinds, I find that SG shops are selling high price (with installation). What is your solution to that?

@solosynthesis
Жыл бұрын
No choice! This is very old house, all the pipe, electric wire etc need to redo. tv, aircon, fridge, washing machine etc, 50k consider cheap, and now with 8 percent gst even more expensive :)
