Great renovation! I love the reuse of the old fence boards. I installed big beautiful green slate tiles in a sunroom. They provided passive solar in that they collected warmth throughout the day, and then radiated that warmth in the evening. Love the simple, calm clean lines of this home. Beautifully done!

Sooooooo good! The library is my favorite. Besides this all being so beautiful and warm, the thing I love the most is that you reused a lot of your previous furniture, and that you recycled the old fence. Amazing!

What a beautiful home

I love the mud room foyer.Every home should be entered through a mud room at the front door instead of at the back of a garage. It is the ultimate welcome to a home. Having more than one entrance to your home creates the need for multiple closets and waterproof flooring in each one. I live in a cottage bungalow with an all season porch/mud room addition in front of the former front door and it is my favourite part of the house.

This is a beautiful and functional transformation. I can see my family living in it. I wish the narrative would have been clearer, slower and easier to hear. She has so many good suggestions how they did the remodel but they were not easy to follow. Probably will watch it again.

I would created hidden storage in the foyer so that you could really appreciate the doors and windows on either end. A table in the centre and small console table along the wall would have been less bulkier and highlight the view.. I would also white wash the stone fireplace in the dining room, the dark tones standout too much and need to be toned down. A beautiful light above the table would also make such an impact and bring down the ceiling, make the vignette more pulled together. I am not being critical, I just can’t help but to see the potential.
