This three-story reinforced concrete building is the private residence of architect Ryota Sekimoto, with the atelier of his architectural design firm Riota Design on the first floor, his home on the second floor, and his parents' household on the third floor. In this article, we will focus on the living room on the second floor and show you the charm of living in contact with the indoor greenery and the courtyard.

6:20 in your vide, there are some tree in left and right side. It seem that they are the same tree species, and are they hackberry?

@@garynn611 I think the left side is Kibushi(I don’t know English name) ,and the right is crape myrtle.But sorry, I'm not sure.

植物に関しては、生き物ですのでお世話の手間はかかるでしょう。お好きだからこそあのような環境をつくり、手入れも楽しんでやっておられます。煩わしさ以上に、暮らしの豊かさという恩恵を被っていらっしゃるようにお見受けしました。
