I loved the fact everything in the house had to resonate with HER, not for show, not for approval, not to make anyone else happy but to feed her soul. She clearly lives with integrity and simplicity with a little flair french women certainly possess. Gorgeous video.

How fortunate to have such a house and an atelier nearby. The books, the serenity, the plants, the windows wide open - I totally relate to her lifestyle.

She really is an artist and it is a privilege to have her receive us as guests. She sees things from an unexpected viewpoint and never what you might assume. Very French in being simplified to her needs.

Love that the apartment is set up to make the person living in it happy 😊. It brings a level of realism.

She exudes the epitome of a Beautiful French Girl. Elegance without even trying. Simply living a beautiful existence…You can’t learn this, it’s innate.

Indeed, I am French and as in fashion, beauty and home decor , less is more , she said it "simplicity" rather than " too much" , this place is beautiful with lots of historic features .. no additions needed and naturally "imperfect" is so charming and "very personal" .

The apartment has such beauty by itself that not much else is needed. The moldings, the stairs, the doors, windows and painted walls, it’s just beautiful.

Stéphanie and her home are a wonderful breath of fresh air and a lovely surprise!

I LOVED this tour Alison! I love the space, and I love that Stephanie appreciates the beautiful mouldings, frescoes, and history of the building, and she is living a more simplistic authentic life. So many nasty comments here. The French (my mothers side), do not like things overdone, and they appreciate the old buildings, over a “decorated” interior. Stephanie reminds me exactly of one of my French cousins who lives in the south of France. ❤❤❤

The crown molding on the stairs and all over the apartment elevates the entire space. It has great views and great light as well.

The house has such great bones and architecture and all the details in the panels. I can see why she felt the furnishings and decor should be minimal. Love the intelligent, intuitive and thoughtful approach this woman has to living. This was so inspiring and what so many Americans try to re-create as “the French girl vibe”. She is the real deal.

I love the textiles Ms. Delpon chose for her bed and the sofa in the boudoir/sitting room. Perfect choices to give the interior a cozy chic feel. Ferdinand is adorable.

I love this! Her style is unpretentious. Since the canvas is already ornate, she chose simple furnishings and decor as not to make it busy. I like her affinity for light and fresh air.

Same. There is absolutely nothing pretentious about her. I love the way she let's the house itself be the shining star not all her stuff. And that the things she does have all have significance and meaning. And that house is amazing. It does shine all on it's own.

This is the only Homeworthy video I haven't been able to get through. To each his own, however, this apartment begs for more! It seems so conflicted to me with the ornate tres chic architecture juxtaposed to her granny chic furnishings. It was just more than I could bear. Her own reference to lost in translation seems completely appropriate. Props though to anyone who can afford both an apartment and an atelier in Paris!

She actually addressed that when she said she had previously been more inclined to have more stuff BUT as a writer and a painter she needs space for creativity. Plus, her surroundings are so opulent that less really is more. She and her process were very enchanting.

I actually like her style and appreciate the departure from some more pretentious NY apartments featured on this channel but felt like the video could do with some editing down.

Waou it's quite impressive to be able to afford a whole house in Montmartre at such a young age . Beautiful and simple . Love her attitude about home decor , the charm from old French houses with special features is preserved . Merci Stéphanie de ce jolie aperçu de votre si jolie maison

The beauty in this living space is the architecture. She really has kept this place minimalist and spacious which allows the architectural details to be at the forefront. Light , airy and very uncurated and very french.

It is true. This house is exquisite. Adding a lot of decor or paintings would spoil the perfec feeling of awe it inspires.

I’m not understanding the quilt draped on the sofa onto the floor. But maybe I’m not supposed to, lol! Love the cocker spaniel, he’s sweet!

the way it's just draped on top and not tucked in anywhere, the minute you sit on it, it would look disheveled. I do like the concept though. not the quilt itself.

Hopefully the quilt is not an heirloom as shoes & feet will take their toll. The other large dove gray sofa was quite ugly and looked uncomfortable on which to sit. To each his own, but for me this apartment is drab, gray and soulless. It reminded me of the movie Interiors. I kept wanting Maureen Stapleton to show up in her red dress!

@@cheesun124 I imagine that the quilt draped on to the floor would only be done if I had just washed it and was trying to dry it out because I didn’t have a clothes line or dryer. But once I saw her sitting and sitting with her feet wearing shoes on it I was perplexed.

It’s quaint. I could live here. Beautiful unique place. Enjoy

Her life is so interesting and I do appreciate this video for that but for a fresh perspective on design that I could incorporate into my life I did not find.

I loved this tour! Not everyone wants “Styled and decorated”, especially to excess. She is living an authentic life in a beautiful space. As she said, “the apartment speaks for itself” no need to clutter it up, and “decorate” it. I felt calm imagining myself in her spaces without a lot of ‘stuff’

Totally understand and shortened my 2 cents on this video. I just felt for what Homeworhy produces this felt more like someone’s KZread video living in Paris rather then a tour of decorators home. But each their own as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :)

I like the vintage ornate touches in the boudoir, the mouldings on the walls and stairs, and the light source. I am not too crazy about the boho quilt..I think it contrasts with the architecture, but thats just me.

the apartment itself (the windows, the moldings, the frescoes in the living room, the high ceilings, the space!) is one of the most beautiful I've seen on this channel. the decor choices however are very...dissonant, I'll say, especially the textiles. I can appreciate a certain artistic messiness but the design choices here don't actually feel designed. just kinda...there. Stephanie is lovely, though -- the ParisianVibe channel has featured her a few times if you'd like to see more of her.

That's why I love it. It does not feel "designed" at all. I would have a lot more "stuff" but I have the opposite issue. That is why I love it. She has exactly what she needs and wants and nothing more. I wish I had that kind of restraint and ability to live simply but elegantly.

Although my taste differs with many on this show, I love the peek into their homes. I do my home my way…they do theirs. That is what makes it personal and a space that reflect who we are. Live and let live.

I was born in the wrong place, at the wrong time, lol. I love the moldings, the details, the originality. I also love that she has open windows (I insist on them as well) and the gorgeous bathroom sink, which I must admit, I also have in my bathrooms.
