Thanks for this video. I've been house sitting for over a year now and I'm completely nomadic. Although I'm sitting very local for a while to my family in the UK I plan to visit Australia again maybe the end of next year so I will look at those links for definite. I'm also in the process of starting my own business so the handouts will be great. I have my first paid client booked in for next year but all the rest are through and have been through trusted housesitter. So nice to hear your stories as they mirror mine completely. You have to learn to read between the lines, too. I recently saw an ad for a free 2 week sit and they mentioned they had a ride-on mower for yard work. Uhm, i think they should mow their lawn the day before they leave and expect to mow it upon their return. Or pay a kid to mow it!

I’ve had a few dogs that are too boisterous and strong for me, but nothing too scary. The owners have all been fine safety wise too.

I was wondering also. I'm afraid of a weirdo possibly having a camera in the shower or something. I saw a guy on the news had cameras in the shower and bathroom in his Air B and B to record women naked. The women exposed him on Tik Tok and social media.
Can you work elsewhere like a normal job and housesit

Yes definitely. Most people house sitting will be working too. Just make sure the owner knows in case they need someone who can be home to let the dogs out etc.
