everything not. house didn't pushed off from the edge, so he couldn't make it to the pool and he would definitely ended on the path. but I love it anyway of course.

@@cwrichardson3 late reply but i think it's Wilson's reaction bringing the focus from House's mental instability and depression to Wilson's disappointment and fear for him which reminds you of how the decision to end/ruin your life will affect the people who care about you. IDK tho cus i cant speak for the OP

I remember watching this and thinking "NO! He's not going to do it". Then, when he jumped, my heart skipped a beat. When he shouted "CANNON BALL!!!" the feeling of relieve was too intense. Great episode. With 2 very good songs.

Still one of the absolute best scenes in any series I have ever seen. First I cried, then I laughed, but when the song slowly started playing again in the end, I lost my smile and got goosebumps. Just everything about this is perfect.

One of the strongest scenes I`ve ever seen... This music... This face... Masterpiece.

When me and my sister (who is a big House fan) were watching this, we weren't paying attention to what was going on. Then when House stepped up on to the balcony, our hearts were racing. He then jumped and she gasped. But after that, we just pissed ourselves laughing.

It reminds me of the scene of Sherlock and John when he is on the roof of the building and John shouts Sherlock

Greatest scene in the history of this show. Without a doubt. Your mind is racing once he jumps. What is happening here? Then you see House in the water smiling and expressing moments of sheer joy. Can't beat it.

I keep coming back to this video, and to the show best freaking show ever made. Changed mine perspective on a lot of things.

Lol. When i watch House, i sometimes think i should change careers and study medicine. But then i realize House is just a tv show and hospitals arent really like that. So ill just stick to my current career...

This scene is one and only suicidal House goes on this balcony with only one purpose to jump and die ! But when he climbs for some reason he change his mind He feels something and that stops him and that's why he jumps in the pool . House M.D best series ever made . Change my life .

After his breakup with Cuddy, he wasn't excited in anything, even solving medical mysteries. He wanted to feel the excitement he had, so he jumped from his balcony into the pool just to feel the adrenaline. And it worked. That's why he partied with the other people.

2016 july i remember when i saw this very first time few years back aww the memories ^^ such nostalgia gets me cuz its not showing anymore house :/

We love House for his genius and his frailties ... we fight his addiction along with him. The writers really nailed this one when they accompanied this powerful scene with Gabriel's amazing cover. House argued that we have to raise the bar ever higher as we get older in order to "Feel The Thrill" and remind ourselves that WE ARE ALIVE !

Anyone else get shivers when the violins started and it zoomed straight onto Wilsons face and then a big shiver when he took that first step off? House is genius and Hugh Laurie is a gent of the highest order.

The walk to the balcony,he climbing it, wilson looking for House, the people pointing up,my body is a, the little smile,the jump,the NO ,cannonball and finally House laughing underwater, reborn.The strings on background and the people jumping on the pool,my body is a cage,my mind hold 's the key,House 's mind.Great scene. :3

errr... You actually didn't get it. It's a is pretty suicidal scene. His life is so shitty he is willing to take random risks and to self-destruct (alcahool, drugs) just to feel a little better

666RicardoDeath Actually, I don't think it goes that way. I think this episode House showed that he desperately needed to have fun, because he broke up with Cuddy. Nothing seemed to entertain him. Then he jumped to the pool, to have fun with the young guys who were there, because the barman said "they were young and had no worries". That's what he wanted to feel. I interpreted the scene this way, probably your point of view is right too.

+Vasco Capela Tavares Suicide always intrigues me. Its forbidden in my faith but Im always curious what tipped people over the edge to do it. When I saw House climb and jump, I couldn't hold back tears and had a stone in my throat feeling. He's hurt inside, no amount of vicodin can relieve the pain.
