So far, it seems like a great season. I like all the politics going on in the background, but I am itching for a battle of some kind. The title sequence hinted toward some big battles. 🙏

I don't think you guys appreciate enough the sheer flex of lounging on the Iron Throne while drunk. That thing cuts people.

The actor who plays Aegon confirmed that that Aegon has no idea he has bastard children which indicates ARRYK/Erryk was lying when he said that he sold in children in the fighting pits

Lol they weren't lying. Just because he doesn't know about it doesn't mean they're not his. He literally has bastards in the book. Erryk didn't lie about anything, that was Aegon's bastard, Tom just doesn't know about that storyline yet.

I don’t think that either of the twins said that Aegon SOLD his children to the fighting pit. My impression was always that Aegon was regularly involved with sex workers and other people who frequented the gambling dens and so forth. So that the child they saw, and any others that there might be, were a result of his activities. The children would be found in these places because that’s where their mothers were. And whether that child sitting in the corner was involved in the fighting was also unclear. They could have just been at the location, again because their other parent was there. But regardless, it is a horrifying situation.

I'm not sure how old Corlys is on the show but in the book, he is in his seventies.

I suggest you guys have the subtitles on when watching the show because they will inform you on a lot of important details like they show which was Blood and Cheese and they also show the dragons names when they are presented on screen. I am glad you are enjoying the show!

I heard someone comment that Cheese knew that Helaena wasn’t lying because he is a gambler. And as such he is good at reading people to see if they are lying or not. And while this seems like it would make more sense if he was a card gambler, which he wasn’t, it still seemed like a bit of good rationale for why he would be perceptive about that.

When it comes to Helena’s visions, I think that she only has a feeling of doom that her mind associates with a phrase that’s relevant to what’s going to happen. I don’t think she knows when it’s going to happen which would make sense for her character and why she’s so quiet all the time. She reminds me of Cassandra from Greek mythology 1:09:27

it won't make any difference because the show ignores this fact at all cost but in the books rhaenys has black hair with white stripes at the front of her face and got the black hair through her mother jocelyn baratheon and in the books everyone suspected of the boys being strong but was a small doubt if they also got the black hair through their baratheon blood and keep in mind in the books the velaryon are just like the targaryen and not diverse like in the show, so that doubt wasn't as obvious as in the show and added to the fact that the show completely chose to ignore that fact and never mentioned only to what viserys tried to tell alicent once about "everything can happen within nature, do not talk about it", it was never mentioned again.

@@LauraGS564 Ok thank you I based that solely off the fact that she told young Renearah that she went there to pray for her mother so I’d assume as an adult she still would as an adult

9:00 daemon told rhaenys when she came back on meleys that rhaenyra has been gone for days and I think rhaenyra would've gone right out to find her son's body, so maybe not weeks long
