Yeah, I was confused by that answer as well. I think Syrax did lay unhatched eggs (I think Viserys II had one), but I'm guessing all the surviving eggs held by the Targaryens were destroyed during Summerhall. It makes the most sense for Dreamfyre to be the mother, since three eggs were stolen by Farman and were unaccounted for.

​@maggiez3677 the eggs being left in the Winterfell crypts is just a rumour in the book. Dreamfyre isn't confirmed to be the mother of Dany's dragons but is by far the most likely option.(One thing's for sure, it definitely isn't Syrax lol)

1. Viserys WAS the last to ride Balerion. Aerea was his prior rider though. 2. There's no confirmation but Dreamfyre is likely the mother of Daenerys's dragons in the books, not Syrax. 3. The unclaimed dragons on Dragonstone answer is incomplete? There's more than three. Sheepstealer, Grey Ghost and the Cannibal are also on Dragonstone. Unless you mean PREVIOUSLY claimed but no longer with a rider.

The unclaimed dragons on Dragonstone when the dance starts are: Silverwing, Vermithor, Seasmoke, the Cannibal, Sheapstealer, and Grey Ghost. The last three are all wild dragons though, so if they phrased the question as "what dragons on Dragonstone formerly had riders but don't anymore" then their answer would be more accurate. Also it's unclear in the show where Seasmoke is so it's possible he's not there? Since Laenor isn't dead...

@@ladyviking89 "related" is a bit of a possible stretch. we don't know who succeeded Lyonel Hightower (Alicent's cousin's son) when he died (he had 6 possibly illegitimate children with his mistress, his father's widow. He married her but the High Septon considered it was a form of incest and annulled the marriage).
