Alicent said it's too late because she's invisible in the small council.. No one listens to her. Aemond, Cole and Aegon wants war and the others just back them.

I think she was just shook and will come to regret it if she doesn't already, also I think she said it's too late cus she knows she's powerless compared to the men she's surrounded by who won't listen to her. Also even if she hadn't majorly misinterpreted Viserys the rest of the green council still plotted behind her back to supplant Rhaenyra with Aegon. Will definitely be heartbreaking

Wonderful review as always! If Rhaenys' bloodline is gonna do one thing, it's gonna have me screaming "DRACARYS" at my screen (Rhaenys in episode 9 and Baela in this ep haha) But the plans in this episode strarted to frustrate me a bit. But we moved a lot of pieces into place for the rest of this season to really start getting nuts lol
Aegon continues to bully Aemond.. Deep down Aegon knows he's a fraud that's why he's so eager to fly out and do things. He knows he's not the king

he knows he a king he feels like a fraud when others control him thats why he removed otto. He wamts to fly to battle because he wants to be respected and prove him self.
The guy saying he is a bastard son of Baelon T. is what is called a dragonseed. Apparently the Targaryen have spread a lot of seeds here and there...
