It's sad to say these old style houses are disappearing too quickly. Pretty soon we're going to be left with trashy modern, copy and paste houses.

Can you imagine what explorers will find in a 100 years time, houses will be void of life because it will all be on line. These houses you explore and this way of life will never be seen again, you’re keeping it all alive 👌

Back on the 70s and 80s parents were ashamed to have children with disabilities, more so mental health ones, some actually would put their children in orphanages . People looking to adopt children didn’t want the ones whom had illnesses such as autism, downs syndrome, deafness ext , those children would always be overlooked. No one wanted their friends coming by with their children and seeing theirs was different . Some parents also knew their children would be judged harshly and so sheltered them away from the world . I wish I could say times have changed but I’ve experienced enough to know that would be bs.

It was actually more common in the 1930-1940’s and prior that parents took their children to Psychiatric Hospitals and they lived their entire lives there.

@@tishgoss9259 in the 30/40s children were left in mental institutions. Prior to that , in countries like America they would be left on poor farms . The 70s and 80’s parents would put them in orphanages, put them up for adoption And so forth as I mentioned previously . The child’s upbringing was often very hard , parents didn’t understand the child’s “ not normal “ behaviour . Illnesses such as ADHD, ADD, autism , were not understood, especially when seen in females . The child would be viewed as “weird “ , “ extremely sensitive “ “ shy “ many other labels It is only now that it’s starting to be recognised more , further complicated by the fact that diagnosis is still from male perspective but autism, ADHD are vastly different with females . We mask very well most of the time and it presents differently in us . I type with experience and knowledge

I'm not certain how you know they had a special needs child, but as a clairvoyant, it may explain the feeling of conflict between a woman and a man that I picked up...defensiveness and misunderstanding. In one of the bedrooms I felt disdain from a sense of imprisonment but I assumed it was lady of the house, as if perhaps her husband was a jealous type, wanting to keep her to himself through isolation. I'm only able to pick up their emotions left behind so I am left with the assumption of the dynamics of it all. A special needs child would make sense of it even more. Now I feel like I need to watch the video again to see if I can pick up more. Thank you 😊

I am sure the money needed to make repairs would be massive and that's not even thinking about property taxes for a house such as this. Most of the time there are people who own the property but the family can no longer afford the maintenance and upkeep.

That basement does not look like it was used as a cell for a disabled child. It was utilised. However there was a kid’s bedroom, toys, wheelchair, baby photos in the living areas. I don’t believe the story about them locking their child away in the basement. Within the house maybe.

I agree. Judging from the amount of “adult” magazines and tapes, I’d say a man was the last occupant, maybe post divorce. There were some more recent Polaroid photos with a younger looking man, and maybe his parents. The kids toys could have been his childhood things, and siblings.

I heard that too. It was like a whisper and the second time was just after the first time (about 33:45). I normally don't go for all the ghost stuff that some likes to show but this wasn't one of them and he didn't even hear this voice it seems, as he doesn't say anything about it. My hair in the back of my neck stood up. I heard it a third time when he started to walk. He was standing still when I heard the voice the first time and the camera was pointed to the floor.

Love the video. Beautiful mansion. Love your calming voice. Glad you don’t put paranormal on main channel. I have left other channels that have moved to paranormal. They are so boring.
