I really think Lannisters are the most interesting characters in this story. They may be cruel, cunning to enemies, but they also are strong and thankful to friends. They pay their debts.

In GoT universe being brutal, cruel and frightening to your enemies is the way to be strong. As Tyrion said ''Seven kingdoms united in fear of Tywin Lannister.'' Love is important too. But if you can't choose both, you must choose the fear. (poor grammar=))

Excuse me? Jaime and Tyrion are alive are they not? They are one of the few families with male heirs that can continue the blood line. And if Cersei's child is a male, he can continue the bloodline as well. Be as it Hand of the king, As the Queen of Westeros or the possible Prince who was promised they are in a good position as the Lannisters. Divided they maybe, powerless they are not. No matter who wins the battle between Danny and Cersei there will be a Lannister on that side.

Wolves And Deers fucked the dragons. The lions supported the dragons. But when the wolves and deers were winning, the mad king ordered Jaime to burn the city, so Jaime killed (betrayed) the mad king.

there is a wiki of ice and fire which has a lot of information about lore. like the lord of house Reyne was Ser Roger Reyne known as the red Lion, who was apparently considered one of the deadliest men in the westerlands and during the war of the nine penny kings led house Lannister's army after Tywin's uncle was killed and even knighted Kevan lannister,his own squire.

Tyrion was great speacher, smart man and he had better strategic mind than his father, tywin. Jaime is loyal, good fighter and loves his family the most. Also he is strict when he needs to. Tywin is the greatest politician and has the best politican mind. Also he is very good lord and thinks about people. Cersei is strict, good speaker and is fierce when she needs to. She has very good politican mind and never gives up. Also she loves her family

Starks are filled with a bunch of do gooders. Lannisters on the other hand had the fearsome Tywin, 'Good' Tyrion, 'Redemption seeking' Jaime and 'bad' Cersei. Far more complex characters. And the Lannister-actors are far superior to other actors. Better acting, better arcs, better dialogue.. Hear them Roar.
