As an American, this show fascinates me because buying property in the US is so much different than buying property in the UK. Phil and Kirstie are very entertaining and knowledgeable. I always look forward to watching this show.

I just "love" when the one who won't even consider the word "compromise" comes in and says "WE have to figure out what to compromise". Ya THINK?? What has Phil been saying all this time? I know I'd smack people if I had this job. Thank god for Phil and Kirstie's patience!

LIsa has such an expressive face. You know immediately how she feels about something, her smile is infectious. I'm glad the retired couple found their home, but I think the husband takes the "pickiest buyer" award. He was constantly looking for wrong things in each house. Thanks for the upload.

Just started the episode, so looking forward to it. I'm the same age as Phil's couple. My retirement plan is to move from Ontario, Canada to the tropics in Belize, and build a home from scratch. The land is bought and paid for. Adventure, here I come!!

You realize you can't just choose to move to another country to live there permanently right? There are these things called visas that you require. You Canadian passport gets you a visitor visa to many countries but that only lets you stay for (usually) up to 6 months.

@@dealbreakerc I visit Costa Rica every winter for a month, and there are 1000's of Canadian and Americans living permanently there. I think every country has different immigration rules. Heck, to move to Canada you just have to call yourself a refugee and you're in!

House hunting, hand holding, life coaching and laughter. I've been in my house for 30 years and now I wonder how I ever found it without Phil and Kirstie to help! The agents I originally contacted never asked or listened to what I wanted, but kept showing me their own listings, no matter the price. My kids will soon be looking and I plan to pass on all the wise tips I've learned from watching P&K.

I loved the 1940s bungalow so much if I had the expert diyer built-in but the adorable house they both loved is undeniably wonderful. I hope the couple who fell in love with the view of their house find that the land between them and the view, stays as is and isn't developed. I love Peggy's wardrobe which has nothing to do with anything except I think she has the taste to apply to the design and decor as they make the house their own. Very happy endings.

Was a fun episode -all the lovely apple trees! But the retired chap must have driven Phil barmy! I'd say, look for a barn conversion - but it's Norfolk & they wanted to be within spitting distance of the sea - I probably wouldn't have shown them that last property - however, when you saw the rear aspect & the potential to add a balcony on upstairs - yes - that was a great choice! Well done Phil & Kirstles! Thanks for sharing.

Why say "final walk away price" when it is only £3k adjustment and thousands below their budget, plus it's new to the market? If I were the vendor, I would've said, "Walk and don't come back."

I wish he could give me that conservatory, I am infinitely fond of them, but my house, despite a huge garden, does not allow to build on a conservatory, so putting a heated conservatory that is not attached to the house but further down the garden, love to grow things and enjoy them sipping tea in the conservatory....oh well, everyone has different pleasures.
