Great game, if a little insane. A game that long and with that many extra tests must have been tough to stay engaged with on your own without someone to chat with and appreciate crazy rolls along the way. Thanks for sticking it through! I am very glad this wasn't rolled up for one combat gang and one shooty one.

Full props for making it through this game without losing your momentum or patience. I can't imagine how exhausting this one must have been with all the tests. Good job all around and a very interesting scenario. Keep up the good work!!

I'm exploring Necromunda and got to say this was very entertaining. I love the theme behind the battle and could just picture everyone slowly going insane and trying to direct that insanity onto the enemy. Though Nine died he was a beast

It was...tough I'll put it that way. I can't imagine a gang like Goliath with close combat prowess being involved. But we pick the matchup before randomly generating the scenario so we get some crazy stuff sometimes.

This scenario is in my top 3 for most frustrating Scenario overall and the absolute top contender for most frustrating for any gang that prefers to stay out of melee. This was a very good showcase of exactly why I find it so frustrating! 😅

@@MiniatureGameMontage Exactly! My friend who runs a Goliath gang had a blast with this scenario, but my brother, who runs Van Saar, and me, who runs Enforcers, really disliked it, and for good reason! It is simy too punitive for ranged gangs.

Running this playlist in the background finishing up some terrain - 20:16 Redemtionist deacon reduced opponent to 0 wounds with the evicerator in melee - should have triggered sever (out of action) - instead you rolled up a flesh wound! Just a catch I thought I'd mention, gg can't wait for more!

Yeah I was pretty pumped to get them painted. I did about 17 or 18 of them so they have a lot of room to grow.

Okay, that was a crazy battle. I've been playing in an Ash Wastes campaign and this has some shades of the comical masochism we've been forced into with that fiasco festival. Surprising finish and kind of surprising that ANY ganger on EITHER side ever fired a gun! lol. I was worried you'd forgotten about Interference for this battle, but then you did bring it up partway through... Necromunda is such a complicated game to keep track of all the rules across the various books, but you've played so much at this point you've really got it nailed down very well. I've got a Cawdor gang and haven't assembled any of my Redemptionists; I may need to get that taken care of in 2023. Oh! And Angmar... I think that cultist is a 'She' not a 'He' iirc. I'll need to take a second look at that mini to verify, though. Always happy to see Necromunda on the channel. Thank you! :-D

@@MiniatureGameMontage I think having to make one roll for control was harsh enough, the willpower to be able to shoot was too much on top of that, it seemed to completely negate any chance to shoot. I can't help but think some factions like Van Saar and maybe some Orlock builds would be almost totally negated in this scenario

This scenario is bonkers. Imagine playing a shooty house vs ogryn or corpse grinders. I just wouldn't agree to play haha. Do you guys play with a lot of house rules?

Really nice battle rep! Weird mission though. 😅 Have to ask since Im learning 33:08, Angmar is attacked by the guy with the eviscerator who gets one hit. Couldnt she use his chainsword to parry (make him repeat the roll)? Didnt really matter as she made her armour saving throw.

Yes absolutely. We get ahead of ourselves sometimes. 🙂 Parry means reroll a hit. Chainswords are fantastic for CC weapons.

Random question: Do you have any ruling on bionics canceling out an injury and then enhancing the limb/body etc? Or do you just see the bionics repair the injury by buffing on top of an injured stat, no additional enhancement.

At 20:10 you wound a guy with a weapon with the sever trait and then roll a flesh wound for the injury. Sever means you don't roll an injury dice, it's an automatic out of action.

When Flea charges Ezekiel at 19:50 you forgot to implement the sever ability on the evicerator. Flea should have been automatically taken out of action. otherwise great battle report!

Yeah...totally get that. I try to give my overall feelings at the end as well to help people judge if it would be fun for them or not.

Carnage. Can imagine the guys in complete confusion. “Don’t attack me! I’m on your side!” “Look mate I’ve told you once now stop it.” Great scenario when it plays out this way. Imagine it could snowball fast if you high roll too much though for hits and wounds - some lucky escapes in the first round alone!

That bloodlust rule is stupid af... i would have bottled 1st turn

these modifiers were absolute ass lol. I feel bad for the players.
