Really considering a backcountry, how is it on trails? What size lug track do you have?

2” lugs, absolutely amazing on the trails. Doesn’t ride like a mxz xrs obviously. But for what it is it’s great. The 2” track is also great on the trails, never overheats, Loads of traction

I have the exact same sled and really like it. Very playful on the trails and while doesn't handle like the MXZ or the Lynx, still gets the job done. I would recommend running ice scratchers if you are going to get one.

If you’re going to put a 1.6 on it you might as well get a Renegade. I have a 154 with 2” and have been in some serious deep snow. Running trails though, get scratchers, it does make a difference.

how is the snow on the power lines this week?

Sadly, absolutely awful, there is only about a foot and half maybe 2 feet in some areas of snow left. It has been in the 50’s and raining. It’s a real shame

@@The1Collin That’s awful to hear. Deciding tomorrow if i should go up to calumet this weekend. So even south range power lines are terrible?

@@drewschellinger9807 I’m heading up there Thursday for a 6 day trips, but from what I’ve heard from my buddy the snow is rock hard. You barely sink in standing, a lot of trails even are showing dirt. Best bet for off trail is going to be in the trees

@@The1Collin You think that snow in the trees has taken a big impact like the rest of the snow? And most tree riding in january had already been somewhat touched. So i’m thinking there’s gonna be little to none untouched snow

@@drewschellinger9807 yes I’ve heard tree riding is pretty bad too, definitely will be better then power lines, but no powder at all, not even remotely close to ski deep
