Amazing lesson. I was concerned about the pour looking like it gets reabsorbed, but it had little to no affect in my use case. Great content.

Hey Max, it's definitely on the agenda! I keep getting requests for it, so I'll look into doing something soon

Im trying to do this with flip particles, not fluid surface. Is it possible? Im guessing the @id is off somehow because theres a bad flicker at the end that kills the loop. I switched the unmatched points setting to DELETE and the shape loops perfect, but deletes points during the Input Blend sequence. Any help appreciated

Hmm I think you might run into some complications with that if you're trying to use particles instead of the meshed version. I'd need to play around with it myself for a little while to figure it out. But - the first thing I would do is double check that you have @id happening. In the FLIP solver, i don't think it gives you @id by default, so you want to make sure that's on. Beyond that though, I'm not quite sure.

@@cgforge Thanks for the super quick reply! It was the receeding particles that created a mismatch/bad offset. Works perfect now! Great video thanks again

Labs loop is a brilliant node!

In this situation, I found that the labs loop created some harsh popping when it went to reset at the beginning of the loop, but in general, this node usually works really well.

How do you use the loop node? Can you explain more
