    I love and hate how perfectly everything represents how much this guy is tired. The way he slowly reloads his gun in the beginning, the way he literally spares a person who could kill him, the way this soundtrack sounds, as if every enemy he kills echoes with tiredness, and, if you think about it, it kinda sounds like heartbeat

    It’s important to keep in mind that while it was a brutal and disheartening death, there wasn’t any other way for it to happen. Henchman wasn’t an innocent man, he’s killed an untold amount of people, and every choice he ever made led him to meeting the fans. Such is the cost of violence.

    I miss hotline miami, but i am also kinda glad it ended with one of the best games to ever be published. I definitely wouldnt want to see it become repetitive and get stuck in a constant loop, something like Far cry 3-6

    Having another Hotline Miami game wouldn't hurt it a bit. It is still a stand-out concept and game from gameplay to game-design it is unmatched. Nothing but Holine Miami compares to Hotline Miami, doubt another one would be repetitive.

    The people you kill because your boss said so,the constant await of revenge from one of the gangs,the constant job that dehumanizes you and makes you cynic,the struggle of living a happy life knowing that your time will come sooner or later. All if these things sure are tiring. And just when Henchman got tired,he lost it all.

    that got me thinking about who would actually win in a fight between the fans and the henchman assuming they're both in peak condition. i feel like it would have been a pretty uneven fight and that henchman probably still would've died. but, he was a career criminal and the son's right hand man, who did actually beat the fans, while high no less.

    I got really used to hearing this song as I kept doing retries for the level achievement. The synth bells coming back around again was the best indicator as to how many times I had to retry. I heard it many times.

    I just found out that Carpenter Brut covered this song. That's like some Hotline Miami recording artists solidarity right there. Good cover. Same hypnotically melodic line and still resonates at a very emotional level, but going for a much different atmosphere.
