The travelers inn was very old hotel which it built sometimes I think 80s or either 90s. Possibly 70s. This video takes place between Lubbock which he saw the metro tower and Dallas/Fort Worth to see Gluse.

This video is just amazing, like all of your hotel tours but you could definitely have stayed at a much, much nicer place like that holiday inn despite the price! Lol😃😃

It's an ok room. But I would've, personally, paid the extra to stay at the Holiday Inn across the way. This place, only if nothing else was available.

Ugh, that's one nasty vintage hotel! I wouldn't recommend staying at another Traveler's Inn.

The Motel Looks Like It Could Use Some Work.

One word: NASTY

This is a true story. Couple years ago I stayed at a hotel that was $40/ a night, had a guy brandishing a pistol beating on the door next to us demanding his money for whatever reason, sirens all night long, but as far as the room went, it seemed like a holiday inn compared to this place.

I would rather pay $100 a night at the Holiday Inn than at the Traveler's Inn because you get more for your money! :)

@crazyboy72375 replacing the furniture would help a lot. interesting that some hotels still use metal keys. fun seeing what older styles of things look like. curved chairs are fun.

I always check the room in advance before I check in. If the tv wasn't working I would have said give me another room. But, based on this room I wouldn't have stayed there. I also prefer electronic locks.

$45 is too much for that room IMO. I've stayed at Holiday Inn Express for $50 in the past. Didn't make me feel like a druggie or prostitute either.

At least this place is better than the budget inn at San Francisco. In this room IT HAS A BATHROOM and in the budget inn the room was way worse and it was 75$!

From what I have heard this hotel has been demolished.

I will be honest, that room was DISGUSTING. That would not be worth the 45 dollars. I would say 25 is an ok price. I think that was blood in the closet by the way. That place needs to be torn down they could build a new hotel that was better. I'd personally spend the extra to stay at the holiday inn over across the street.

I think it's changed names in the past couple of years but that Holiday Inn was actually the site of a murder roughly about ten years ago. A girl was killed there and stuffed into a suitcase. There have been a couple of ID type shows done about it. Rosendo Rodriguez, "the suitcase killer". He killed at least two girls that they know of.

The toilet is a vintage Eljer emblem.

until finally it was torn down. ive stayed in that motel before. but it wasnt as bad as the staduim motel now that one they need to burn down cause that motel was just down right nasty...

This place definitely had its better days before it was put to pasture.

I personally would not want to stay in that room.

you cola in the toiet and why do you need glasses for ultraviolet light and for only 45 bucks the hotel would be bad if its around 100 or more is better. i stayed in hotels that is 100 bucks and more and they were really nice.

There are better motels to stay in Lubbock for that price. The south side has way better hotels than this. Thanks for the tour. looking forward to seeing the elevators you filmed while staying in Lubbock.

There’s nothing currently in its place, but not far from where it used to be, they built a Best Western Plus Tech Medical Center Inn.

You definitely can tell you payed 10% of what I did at the NYC Marriott Marquis, that's for sure. What a dump. PS: I'm repurposing my Marquis Tour for this video. More appropriate, being an actual tour, unlike the one initially posted to.
