Wow! That has got to be the WORST DIRTY Mattress I've ever seen! Every hotel I've stayed at in the past, I've never had that issue with the bed before, although in my previous one I stayed at, I did find a little issue which was I found just one little piece of hair I guess they forgot to clean on one of the beds, but other than that, the rest of the other parts of the beds in my room were completely fine and clean. If it were me to be a guest in this hotel and staying in this room seeing that mattress, I'd inform and complain to the front desk about it

Wow, triple trouble: Awful Mattress, Awful Toilet, and Awful Modded Elevators.

You should do updated hotel tours of some of your old favourites like the Best Western Radford Inn, Days Inn Princeton and the Comfort Inn Burkville.

Awesome hotel tour

Good thing I stayed at the Hampton Inn when I went to Chincoteague Island in July. Aside from the mattress, this hotel looks pretty nice.

I love Chincoteague; what I DON'T particularly love is the abysmal state of your lodgings. There's no telling what lurks within the creases of that mattress. In spite of this, I appreciate the tour!

i'd recently been to london and the hotel i stayed at there had that same deal where you had to stick the key in to turn on the lights

They do that thing with the card holder on the light switch to conserve power, and make it harder for the guest to forget the key That mattress is pretty shocking for this class of hotel... wow.

Icky mattress aside (these could be replaced), the place looks otherwise gorgeous (I'd love to go to Chincoteaugue Island someday; I'm a major horse fan).

Most of the time in a modern hotel if you see a door that seems to adjoining rooms more then likely its to a living room of a suite. especiallly if your in a king room more then likely its not occupied.

One thing I notice is when you guys come off the elevator and start walking to the left towards that other hallway. I could hear the elevator door chime and it sounded a lot like a Mitsubishi going down chime. And I'm guessing those elevators are hydraulic being there are just three floors. One thing I can say, is that I hope more and more new build hotels go with mrl's instead of hydraulic. I've been on a couple different Schindler 3300's, but I have yet to be on a 5500. As for this hotel, yes it is a nice place. And hopefully they removed that mattress and put in a new one for you while you were there. Those balconies, though. No privacy, and people could just jump over those rails from one to the next, which to me is a major compromise as far as balcony door security is concerned. Yes it makes for a more wide open view outside, but I don't think I want to be stuck having to wave to neighbors just because I want to walk out a door into what should be a relatively private outdoor space.

Me personally, I prefer Marriott and hiltons brands, I have stayed in some Choice hotels before, and they are nice at a good price. But still, i have never seen a mattress like that ever before.

The worst experience I had where I didn’t even stay a minute it was that bad a other one was when the card wasn’t working and we had to got a new room with new cards not to forget I was stuck in a hotel elevator one time

That's disgusting. Did you let the hotel staff know about it? I mean I wouldn't want to sleep on that mattress after seeing that.

very nice hotel room but they should just change the mattress because no matter how they clean the stain stayed on, overall nice hotel built in 2015-2016.
