Hotel Review - Areca Lodge Pattaya
Great location in the heart of Pattaya Thailand
Welcome to Lostdigger - join me whilst i take you on my bike packing adventures as I circumnavigate Australia (Nov 2023 start) on my Surly Ogre Touring bike, raising awareness for the "Black Dog". I'll thrive to live off-grid and free camp whilst travelling cross county, around all the byways, side tracks in between.
I was in the Australian Defence Force, and have been for the past 25 years. As I start this KZread channel i'm going through a unplanned and suprising medical seperation from the ADF, due to a multitude of service related injuries.
After to losing 13 close friends to suicide! all within 3 years, all from emergency services background, I want to bring awerness to the "Black Dog" that high profile occupations deal with, once they leave that career. They dont have that "community" they once had.I have come to release this is all a common dominator from professions that deal with high risk.

Awesome
The hotel is great. The employees of the hotel are great and give a feeling of home. The room is always clean and cozy. The location is superb. Service is friendly and pleasant and always positive. The hotel is spread over extensive grounds with plenty of parking and 2 swimming pools. Huge courtyard, charming corners and fine dining. The price is great and you always get more. for your money.

one of the best in area
always walk past it when i'm in town and it looks fantastic at night...now that i see the room from the inside, it's seems worth a stay not only for the great location but for the room as well

I stayed there in December for a couple of nights. Same building as you were in. The room looked good on agoda , not so good in person. The room seemed damp and musty. How was your room? The breakfast was decent and the location was good. I paid 2200 baht a night with breakfast. I will go back to LK metropole next time, much nicer rooms for around the same price.

I love the place but every time I try to book a room the place is full ! 😜😜😜

When I went onto Agoda it was all booked, I still clicked on hotel and low and behold rooms appeared. Unsure if it’s a glitch in booking sites but have found a few hotels the same.
