It wouldn’t work in Germany. At least I don’t think it would. German law restricts public computer gaming to 18 years old, or older. I know this because some time ago, I tried to take my 12 year old daughter to a lan center near Mainz, and was informed that I could come in, but not my daughter. So, of course, we didn’t stay. But, in a hotel room, no one would know, but anyone under 18 wouldn’t be allowed to use the computers in the lobby area.

i always imagined/fantasized about such a place....never knew it existed....thanks for the video....wish such a place existed in my country ...wonderful getaway for the weekends.

I just came back from the hotel after a 2 day stay at taoyuan taiwan, it was definitely worth every penny spent on this hotel, everything is nice and neatly designed i think it exceed any 4-5 star hotels apart from those gym and swimming pool stuff. The breakfast served are great, the room services are great and most importantly the beds are the best I’ve slept so far. So yes please get them more attention and we need more of these hotels in the future!

Heck yeah its very cheap in compared of what they offering for each room, and beware that you might be staying up all night playing games which is all this hotel is about, don’t forget to appreciate their bed too, you can ask them for a controller and play games on the TV which i highly recommend it, hope they bring more of these hotel globally so i can visit them all as i travel

Capsule hotels are a design out of necessity, and Japan has really made the most out of it.

I mean, the way I see it is that you have a hotel with amazing internet, everything you need to stay comfortable and a few computers if you want to relax for a bit... The name of "gamer hotel" sure seems sketchy but I think this competes with normal hotels in a lot of different ways.

"that's a 4K TV, that's CO-NEC-TED in a really cool way"... HDMI cable... mind blowingly innovative of them.

This hotel would be great for groups of friends, and Linus made a good point for those e-sports players. Not having to lug all that equipment back and forth would be a huge plus.

I feel like this is literally every viewers dream.

Nope not me. Maybe I would go once to just experience it, but generally when I am on a vacation I ain't doing it to game somewhere else. Although that space capsule room looked sic. Unless they would be close to gaming/tech conventions, then I might be a frequent user.

Waw, nice hotel! I would stay a few days in such a place for some gaming fun lol :) Though i would prefere to have my own laptop with me and play the games on it, not to install some games and when i close the computer at night to have to reinstall everything in the morning. If you are the person who just doesn't care of light polution in the place you sleep, or sound polution, of course you can keep the computer on for the whole stay i guess. Very cool concept!

I seen one of the harnesses but havent used one but supposedly it distributes the weight to make it easier on the camera man but as i say i cant verify that without using one myself...

It looks more like a protection for the actual lens opening. I have no idea if it is a professional camera or not, but the last time I saw a high end digital camera (100k euro range) the lens opening was not much smaller.

absolutely awesome concept.... would stay there in a half beat... BUT... ONLY if they havent double the room price because of the PC. How much more was the room compared to similar hotels?
