You can see the track slowly sinking to the bottom of the pool as the car goes along it. This is because the track was initially at the top of the pool, but the weight of the car and GoPro cause it to sink. Since its sinking its pulling the track down with it. The downward motion of sinking is then converted to a forward motion due to the track angling downward initially.

If u look closely, at some parts of the video are cut out and edited, although water boosters are cool, if it was a small car, it would send it flying into the air. Also, either they used a tube all the way through the pool and edited the tube out until the end to seem like the car was still going, or someone was moving the car underwater. Anyway, this was awesome and very imaginative, whoever did this, keep up the good work😁

@@overthinker9616 OR... get this... gravity still works underwater! At the start of the pool, the track is floating. Once the car reaches the pool track, the weight of the car causes the track the car is on to sink, eventually reaching bottom. Since the car is heavier than water and essentially only moving forward because the track is slowly sinking on a decline, it stays on. Additionally, you can see that the car travels from shallow to deep ends, so even when hitting bottom, it continues forward along the pool's downward slope. The car reaches the tube which is being pumped with water from the bottom up (notice the hose on the right side to the opening) and eventually is popped out the top end. Hope this helps.

@@aone9050 Yea, this car did not go through that in one shot and some of the shots are manipulated (coming out of the tube the car was clearly dropped into is causing the disruption to the water). It's in the description of the video so they're not hiding it.

The underwater part was amazing!

This wasn’t even about the water trip, it was a hidden flex on how nice that yard was. Good try. Amazing track.

I remember making tracks all over my living room, back in the early 70's. Certainly wasn't like this, but fun nonetheless. My request would be maybe a couple of video shots from a slight distance, to see the track as a whole, and also looking down into the pool. This really brought me back to the day.. like 50 years ago...LOL

It sure brought me back, as well. My brother and I used to set up some awesome jumps. We found that if we laid out a few open magazines on the other end, our Hot Wheels could do some impressive landings without crashing. The basement was our playground, and perfect for those rainy days we had to stay inside. 😃

The camera perspective is for a sudden a different in those, they may have trixed here but I am not even mad there is a nice vibe during the whole video I loved it

It’s say how they did it in the video description That is the pipe part was filmed backwards with splicing the video to hide the illusion. You can see the bubbles falling down rather than floating up. And the sudden jerks of the camera are do due the fact it is hard to replicate exact position of the pipe when it’s in water.

holy cow my mind just got flooded with old childhood memories spending countless hours out in the dirt with my hotwheels collection...I remember having 2 of the original 16 as well, if I only knew what I had at the time huh? great video y'all and huge props to whoever did the work on this!
