    Gotta love Kinkuna. hope the knobs that illegally camp a few clicks north of you didn't bother you too much. That's a neat little setup, thanks for sharing mate.

    Great setup kind Sir. You may have got the hose colours mixed up during the Joolca demo, but that's no big deal. Still works the same. 😁👍🏼Thank you for going to the trouble of explaining all that. Much appreciated.

    Thanks man. Yer I don’t worry about the colours mate, I know which way the water flows. I use the hoses based on best length for my needs. Thanks for watching 👍👍 cheers 🍻 Jeff

    I love watching KZread videos of Aussie overlander rigs. So much more innovative than a lot of the rigs here in the U.S. The one thing I've seen on yours that would improve it so far is having it coated with Raptor Liner.

    Yer mate for sure, raptor the entire truck might be on the cards. Paint works getting a bit old. It’s in the shop getting a SAS conversion done at the moment. That will dramatically improve driveline reliability 👍

    Great stuff mate, would have been a fun project to save some dollars. The back of the rig looks unreal! Keen for the next one with whatever else is planned.

    Good question. We just spent 10 days at Bribie for Easter. I’ve got a fair bit of interstate travel for work coming up so likely to be a lot of short weekenders for a while. Next big trip will be Vic high country in this time next year. The Springs 4x4 Park and Sundown NP most likely

    Cheers for the video, think of doing something similar myself. Do you know if the water pump is absolutely required for this to work properly or can it be just a gravity-fed tap of an underbody water tank?

  • @jeffntashadventures3438

    @jeffntashadventures3438

    Thanks for watching David👍. I’m not 100% sure but I would think the pump not necessary provided you’ve got enough flow to supply the system. You can only try and see. Pumps are relatively inexpensive and easy to install if the gravity feed doesn’t work. Good luck with it and I’d be interested to know how it goes. Cheers 🍻 Jeff

    Great setup. D&W say the unit shouldn't be permanently mounted in there, have you had any issues (ie Vibration, etc)?

    Hey Jeff, been looking at one of these, love your set up, I noticed on the Dunn and Watson Web page they state not to store the unit in the box during transit, have you found any reason why that would be the case?

  • @jeffntashadventures3438

    @jeffntashadventures3438

    Gidday Jarryd, no issues at all mate. Done half a dozen trips, one 3 weeks setting up everyday never had an issue. It’s bolted in so can’t go anywhere so unless there’s something in the unit that break?? But same vibration if it’s packed away in the canopy as it gets in the D&W box. Maybe someone smarter than me knows why though?

    Thanks mate, glad you like it. Uses very little gas. We were away 22 days and used approx 3/4 of the 4kg gas bottle. We used the gas for cooking most days as well as for hot water. Hope this helps. Cheers 🍻

    Gidday Nolan, got it at Bunnings. You should be able to find something similar in you local hardware or plumbing supplies store. You just want it barbed on the back so you can push your hose on and tighten with a hose clamp. Thanks for watching 👍 cheers 🍻 Jeff
