After Miles made that comment about being an inch taller, I made sure to pay attention. He was definitely slightly taller than Peter when they were standing next to each other. He was 100% not shorter.

Weird. According to the wiki Peter is a couple of inches taller. I wonder if there is some discrepancy between Insomniac's published height and their in-game heights.

@@CaptainRockoBD you're misunderstanding, apparently in-game Miles is TALLER. However outside the game he's said to be slightly shorter. It's less about the voice line, and more about the fact that his in-game proportions don't match the Hot Toys proportions. It's also not that big of a deal, just sorta interesting

This is an amazing figure! a few issues I have with it are that the hands look a lot more angular and less natural, as well as the hole covers for the iron leg holes stick out a bit too much

For me, I do like the red panels on the thighs, and the broken panels of red on the arms on the 1.0. It gives that athletic wear look. I don't like how there is too much white on the forearms of the gauntlet. I do however like how the logo is streamlined into the red and the colours of the 2.0 is awesome. Also the weblines are meant to be indented and not raised.

Found an alternative collectable figurine company: Neca. They do horror as well. I own the Prey Feral Predator, and the night cougar Alien. Recommend them both. I love the amount of accessories with my predator. Alien? Not so much. Just a parasite. Not complaining. Aliens don't typically use no weapons. Other than their teeth, and the dark.

The man is back. Glad to see these reviews popping up on my notifications again.

The Spider-man 2 Advanced Suit 2.0 looked Stunningly Spectacular! I love the Detailing, Designed, and Colors as well. Not to mention his Mechanical Metallic, Spider Legs on his back. I definitely think you should use the spider arms for your display. it’s really the main thing for Peter. It’s like his own gameplay mechanic that makes him unique from Miles. also to people who think that he is special because of the Symbiot that is already gonna get its own figure so he shouldn’t use it for normal old Pete

Justin was curious if the web wings will sit on miles from this Spidey as feel maybe theyll throw the wings on maybe another Miles figure release maybe on another suit, i really would find it odd if they dont give collectors the ability to have them both with wings but if its included on another then HT will guarantee people buying more Spidey figures

I'm still waiting on my order for this figures meaning I'm waiting on two. I like this figure and this articulation.I still like the one point one, and I like the classic as well the upcoming Spider-Man classic suit with web wings and camera , that coming straight out of the comic book. I heard that going to be limited and it remind me of the Stan Lee &Steve Ditko Spider-Man which I'll probably get 4 of those! The only thing missing is the Spidey belt light and it would almost be the Stan & Steve it looks more like a Todd McFarlane.

I kinda prefer the darker blue on the advanced 1.0 as opposed to the 2.0, but at least the red is more red in this suit. Everything about the 2.0 is more accurate to the classic. My lord that suit is just too damn cool.

I was on the waitlist the second these went up for preorder. Been waiting for a while but I just got the offer to buy one today. Finally! Making a couple of payments before I get it but I’m just glad I got the chance. Just need Miles and Venom. I did pay off the black suit one so I can’t wait for that one, either!

Honestly I think 1.0 looks better. 2.0s headsculpt looks a tad big. I don’t love the belt area on 2.0. The chest being much bigger on 1.0 gives him some more presence imo. Whenever I get him I’m definitely going to buy the OG face headsculpt. It looks really good 🤌

Yup I agree. The head shape did change between 1 and 2, but Peter is just as jacked, if not moreso in 2 than in 1. They messed up by toning down the musculature on this figure. The bigger head combined with smaller body makes it look off.
