There’s something just off about the headsculpt idk if it’s just because im a big fan of hailee and know her face really well but the likeness is there its just not quite right

Overall I think the sculpt is pretty good. Like a 7/10. It’s a combination of a lot of little things that hinder it. All of the facial features by themselves look great. I think it’s mostly distancing issues. That’s why the face looks great from 3/4 view or an overhead view, because our eye tricks us into shortening the distance between certain features. The eyes are just a little too far apart, and a lot of artists use the distance between the eyes to measure how wide the nose is, so by association, they made the nose a little to wide as well. Her lips look great. The actress has a wide chin like the figure suggests but the transition from her jaw to her chin is a little softer irl and not as boxy, especially when her face is more relaxed. She does have more of square chin when she’s smiling, as do most people. Her eyebrows are kind of thin as well. Artists also tend to break the face into three equal parts; forehead, eyes to nose, and nose to chin. Since they made the forehead a little to long, it’s seems as if they made the other two parts a little too long to compensate. Something about the clothe shirt just looks so pleasing when your talking about articulation. And the proportions look great. Overall still a great figure.

I'm disapointed there isn't a Clint figure too. They did a prototype, why not produce him? I think Kate looks great too. That pony tail reminds me of the one on Wasp figure. I've been paranoid that is will fall off and get lost. The only thing that bothers me is the front of Kate's hair, I think if they made the strands a little thinner, finer instead of that clump that looks like it was glued on.

I think it’s the eyes this no fault of Hot Toys but Hailey was wearing very heavy eye liner in the show Hot Toys does like to keep things soft more often in this regard if you look at their Harley Quinn’s for example the eye shadow is very soft. Deeper eye shadow and liner would really help this figure but I still think it’s a knockout release

When it comes to the face gold I feel that it is accurate but I think the reason why people feel it's off is because the eyebrows should be slightly thicker and maybe a different expression

For me I think the only thing that makes the face sculpt slightly off is the eyebrows. Hailee has thicker eyebrows in real life and in the show. But on the sculpt they are sharp and more thin. Other than that I can see Hailee! Great review!

Like Rey from Star Wars (Daisy Ridley), her face is not very Hailee Steinfeld-like, the figure is otherwise very nice and I'm already looking forward to having it on my shelf next to the others. I think Iron Studios figurines have incredibly realistic faces especially with my Black Widow figure (Battle of NY). I don't understand how something so miniature can be so accurate. I'm looking forward to the Kate Bishop by Iron Studios statue especially for detail comparison.

Huh, interesting. I'd say the only minor gripe I have with this figure is that she seems a bit too short. Granted, I don't know how consistent the sizing usually is on these, but Hailee Steinfeld is actually barely shorter than Jeremy Renner, and a fair bit taller than Tom Holland.

Headsculpt is not quite there. Hailee is a pretty girl and this looks like her dowdy cousin. I posted a comparison with a photo on my IG and you can see all the subtle differences that make this a near miss at best. Thanks for the review.

I saw a lot of people complaining about the sculpt but god damn that thing is beautiful and accurate, I guess people are used to seeing the actress all glam up but on the show she wears minimal make up just like in the sculpt, I think hot toys is doing a great job with female sculpts lately, Jane Foster and Sabine are perfection, let's hope they nail the final product like this one.
