To answer your question yes we do need 3 Vader’s one with his helmet on the battle damage one & one showing his whole face all 3 would be beautiful 😍

It looks an awesome figure, and I’m relieved that it looks very similar to the prototype. I don’t have a Vader in my collection, so decided to pre-order 2 of these - one to display battle-damaged, one to display clean with the full helmet. Then the ROTJ Vader was announced(!) Not sure whether to cancel one and order a ROTJ Vader, but I’d only be displaying the ROTJ version with the helmet, so not sure there’s much point…. Decisions, decisions! 🤔

I'd personally get two different vaders if you wanted to display a clean look. Having both of this Vader would be cool but they all come with different accessories and cool stuff. Might as well get the most bang for your buck if you're buying multiples

If I only wanted 2, I’d sell esb and get the others. You’ll get the 2 piece removable helmet from rotj. Then again, we’re bound to get the rots Vader which will replace the kenobi version for many people.

This is the only one that you need and you only vader that I'll ever get comes battle damage and comes clean. There's not much variation from each Vader to the next to have more than 1.

I’m so jealous! I got the deluxe one but missed out on the special one with the hologram! 😭 It’s my first hot toys and I’m so excited! Love the video by the way! If I was you I’d sell empire and keep return and this one! That way you have a Vader with an Old and young head sculpt plus both can be switched for that eras helmeted version! Out with the old in with the new haha that’s just my opinion! I love the empire one too but I feel like these new ones blow it out of the water!

Buy one Vader, then buy a custom leather replacement, and CCL saber. Enjoy over the years as you watch all the other releases disintegrate

I bought the ESB Vader as I liked the base. It doesn't really feel like a quality figure though. I imagine a future premium release with diecast and real leather. An Artisan release, no doubt. HT will always find new ways of convincing you to buy another Vader.

I have the ESB Vader. I’ve got Bespin Luke to pair with him. I’m good.

I have 2 HT Vaders and both pleather have deteriorated. If I just want that headsculpt would get the gentle giant bust of this version instead. But still great release might be the best HT vader atm

I’m getting this kenobi vader and the return of the jedi vader since they have headsculpts. Tbh if I were you I’d do the same and sell the ESB Vader. You’re basically getting him with the other two just better

I love the uniqueness of this Vader. However, I will stick with ROTJ Vader, simply, for the additional hand gestures, which makes him more expressive; and it represent the completed character Arc of Vader/Anakin. The crack helmet = I don't want a representation of my favourite villain after getting his ass kicked.

Sell all Vaders and cancel any PO's of him. There is only Star Trek! 😁 Seriously it depends on your display but personally I'd go OG Vader. ROTJ Sebastian Shaw. But that's just me. Thanks for vid!

Selling the ESB Vader for this is borderline mental.

Ben, you need a minimum of one Vader for each day of the week. Stop wasting your money on that retirement fund and get busy collecting! Can't wait to get this one (especially since I've already paid for it). I've got the ANH and ESB Vaders; this will make three, ROTJ will make four. If your friends are asking why you have three Vaders, are they really your friends?

This figure was what opened the flood gates for me to buy a lot of Hot Toys figures. When I saw it I had to buy it and everything else I said no to 😮😮😮

The ESB Vader is still superior. I cant understand anyone who buys this and displays it clean. The whole point is the battle damaged look. If its not being displayed like that, then i see no point getting it. As far as CCFL goes…..be carful. They do look good, and i have 5 of them. But they get hot……REALLY hot. 🥵

Sadly they didnt make it accurate, its the rogue one vader with anakin headsculpt, and the helmet from kenobi IS NOT the same as the one in rogue one, they were lazy, only new thing in here is a extra head with anakin, extra damaged life support box and an extra lightsaber, if you already own the rogue one, id skip this one (or try to get the damaged vader headsculpt online)

Both are great. I'm a 1/6 collector so thats where I always lean to. While the 1/4 are beautiful,I've had a hard time in the past fitting them into my display. The size difference is too dramatic next to 1/6. Their foot print is also a lot bigger so takes space away from me for more 1_6 down the line. But if you're a statue collector or 1/4 collector as well, I'd look at how much you're wanting to spend, where you'd display it first, have a plan to execute it, or I'd go 1/6 personally! Hope that helps

Honestly it's this one and the return of the Jedi Vader because you need the Sebastian Shaw representation as a true fan
