I'm a huge dark knight fan, and i must say I've seen a lot of these, and this is the 1st time I've seen that sewing like that. The others aren't like that. The ones I've seen anyway. I used some points and got lucky and paid 190 usd for this. I really wish they would have included 2 sculpts, and i know they aren't meant to come off. But damn when they are, it looks so much better . Good vid, btw

Thanks for your comments and supporting the channel it’s much appreciated 👍 it’s good to hear that my version is the exception and not the rule but that being said Hot Toys shouldn’t be letting anything out of the factory which is this badly stitched. Swap out head sculpts would have been a great idea 👍 a missed opportunity there. Take care of yourself and happy collecting 👍

Sorry for being late with my comments, first chance I have had to view the video. Full disclosure I do have the original figure which I had to by backwards having missed it’s original release. I am for the most part perfectly happy with my earlier figure which is in mint condition. I do like the background display with the new figure especially as I do not use detolfs so could display it at full capacity. I was never tempted to pick this figure up and following your critique I am content with my decision. I understand the bagging at the knees as you describe but the stitching on the back is not great is it ? and having looked on my own figure I feel the older one may be superior stitching wise?. However I am pleased for collectors being able to pick her up as it’s a pet hate of mine having to pay after market prices for older pieces. Also when you settle on your pose and view her on the shelf she is a tremendous figure and well deserving of being in the collection😀 Thanks for your thoughts, have a great weekend and mind how you go….. so so close to the 1k mark and well deserved 👍

Thanks for your comments and support as always👍 absolutely the diorama is good apart from the cardboard, but apart from that there’s not much to recommend here. You have definitely made the right decision sticking with the original as this is riddled with issues and the more time I spend it the more I spot. The problems are too numerous to mention and the improvements on the original pretty much come down to the head sculpt and base which in my mind is not a V2.0, not Hot Toys finest hour….and that stitching🤬 in its favour from a distance it does looks quite good in my Batman display. I can’t believe we are almost at 1000 subs, what started as an experiment has grown beyond all my expectations 👍 thanks again have a great weekend, take care of yourself and happy collecting👍

Hmm, interesting. That gate part makes it look very claustrophobic for a display. Looks far too short once Batman gets near it and also too narrow. I like the idea for the presentation but comes off a bit half baked once a figure's on it. And yeah, that stiching is woeful. These '2.0' releases are really bait and switch from Hot Toys. Also, every time you say 'party piece' I keep expecting to see a figure with a lampshade on its head and trousers around its ankles.

Absolutely 💯 the whole thing comes of as ill conceived and badly executed. I think I was overly generous with my score on this one as the more time I spend with it the more issues I spot. Thanks as always for your comments and supporting the channel it’s much appreciated…..I won’t be able to say “party piece” again without that image in my head,I might just have to kit bash one🤣

Solid figure but a shame with the QA issues, the knees looking baggy look weird and on the back especially, it looks so haphazardly done... Head sculpt looks good but the hairline like you mentioned could be better.

Not a bad-looking figure despite the many flaws. But I'm holding out for the real Catwoman: Julie Newmar. Apparently, Mars Toys is working on her, and I hope she looks as good as their Cesear Romero Joker, AKA Prank Villain.

Absolutely 💯 Hot Toys dropped the ball badly on this one but it’s not the worst figure I’ve ever seen. Like you I can’t wait for Mars Toys take on Julie Newmar, I have high hopes🤩 Mars Toys are hitting home runs every time in the Batman universe imo, the Prank Villain very nearly got my figure of the year for 2023…simply superb👌 Thanks as always for your comments and support, take care of yourself and happy collecting.

Outfit is probably vinyl. I wish Hot Toys would stop using that cheap and nasty Pleather!!! I've sold so many of my Hot Toys because of the flaking Pleather issues. Nice review, but I think I'll pass on this one. 👍

Mine arrived same time from William also...I think personally this figure is an absolute rip off at £240, absolutely again gutted. The tailoring is diabolical, Palitoy would be proud.

New figures are always unboxed in front of the camera and I have no idea, other than seeing other KZread reviews what to expect (I think it keeps the reviews real) but the longer I spend with this figure the more I think I was too kind in my comments and score. With hindsight I would score this a 5 out of 10 at best, possibly a 4 and doesn’t go anyway to dispel the belief that the 2.0 line is nothing more than a cash grab…not a good way to treat your fan base🤨 take care of yourself and happy collecting👍
